Fairly nice place to eat!

My family of 6 went on a Sunday. Everything was pretty quick. Our sever was new and it was her first day alone so her being pretty quick was surprisingly nice. When we entered there was a table on the back we went to but it wasn’t cleaned off so we went to the front. It wasn’t fun moving around to another table.

Salad was decent. I’m not a big fan of salads but that’s my personal taste and isn’t playing into the review. Croutons were amazing though.

I got a sweet tea and it was perfect. Not to sweet but not to unsweetened. Quick refills. It’s a 10/10 for the drinks.

We got appetizers. Chips and salsa along with onion rings. Onion rings were standard bar onion rings. Nice and crunchy the onion always falls out when you bite into it. 10/10 Chips and salsa was great. Salsa wasn’t to spicy but it was the point where my 5 year old loved it. So perfect 10/10. The chips themselves were thick but hot. We also got guacamole. It didn’t actually seem like guacamole it was more like baby food. Just plain puréed avocado with no seasoning or vegetables, But it was actually good. 9/10

Onto the entree

I got the 10 oz sirloin with a side salads and side Mac n cheese

It came with toast. It’s was just toast haha. It needed a little butter. 9/10

The steak was good. Very juicy, easy to cut, not to chewy. She never asked me how I wanted it cooked. It came out medium. I normally prefer medium rare but it was good. 10/10

The Mac and cheese was extremely disappointing. It tasted like the microwave Mac and cheese dinners you get at a gas station. It wasn’t terrible but I did not enjoy it. 4/10.

So, I don't know what the heck is going on here, they have new management or what .. but the last 4 times I have been in there gambling, all I get is dirty looks from the rachet bartenders that work there now, and if I have a ticket, I am standing there, they walk passed me, look me in the eyes, then go and start asking people if they need more drinks, or go wipe down tables, and completely ignore me for over 20 minutes. I would say I am just being paranoid, but then my bf goes in tonight to get food, after calling and is told to wait a minute on the phone, they set the phone down and he can hear everything going on for legit 24 minutes and 47 seconds before he finally hangs up and goes there, at the time of writing this their line is still going straight to voicemail. So then, he gets there and describes the exactly same type of experience. He went in, they chick asks him if he wants a drink he said no he was here for food, then she says ok she will be with him in a second, then goes and asks 3 other people if they wanted another drink, then some chick comes in and gets carded and asked if she wanted a drink and she said she was there for food, and the idiot bartender takes her order and completely ignores my bf. So, until they get new workers, we won't be going back because these chicks are rude as hell and can't blame it on anything except that. I miss Jackie and Sunshine, these new chicks just lost 20 year business for this...

Food is amazing and staff is typically very nice, me and my boyfriend have gone here for a couple years now it’s actually where we had our first date. I swear He could eat Sharkeys for breakfast, lunch and dinner, although I can’t, sometimes I’ll get Mexican food and he will get Sharkeys, june 15th was one of those days. We came in debating whether we should eat there or pick up the food to go. His order was almost ready when I asked the bartender if they had any sour cream she asked me what for and before I could answer she snapped back and said “no obviously you can’t bring other food to this restaurant and eat it here, that make sense right?” The tone in her voice was sarcastic and spiteful. She was so rude that my boyfriend thought she was joking but I knew she wasn’t so of course I left. I can understand how that is a rule at some restaurants but I can’t understand why she didn’t just inform me nicely & I was shocked because their staff is usually very outgoing and respectful. I wouldn’t be caught dead talking to a customer like that at my job let alone a customer that did nothing to provoke such an attitude. I hope she was just having a bad day and this isn’t how she treats...
