Sky Lounge — Restaurant in Springfield

Wow, great looking space! The twinkling star sky was super pretty, but that's where the dream ended for sky lounge. The service lead much ti be desired. Hostess or bartender, who knows she may have been the cook too, was too concerned for her friends at the bar. After being told part of my Philly cheese steak sandwich wasn't available, she brought me a menu to find something else. After quite a while and my friends appetizer arriving already, I had to walk the menu to the bar and ask for my order of the ribeye sandwich. I asked if they could include the peppers and onions from the philly to the ribeye. She had yo go ask, and upon her return they suddenly have the philly cheese steak. When it finally comes, there are no peppers and onions on it. I ask if they could add them and it comes back with no 4 pieces of diced pepper and maybe one piece of onion. The only good food came from the fryer.

Most of the taps on the wall were empty. I'm left wondering if this place is going to going under soon because it seems like they are just trying to push thr last of their inventory before closing.

Do yourself the favor, and skip this place. I know I'll be telling everyone yo do the same, and to save their money.

I hope the owners care enough to try and contact me to make this right if they actually want to improve their business. Who knows maybe their normal clientele dont have standards.

The philly cheese steak was overdone and another in my party ordered the ribeye sandwich was.....somehow crunchy? How does that even work?!? There are other things I have yet to comment on, but I'll just leave it as is for now.

P.S. For what reason would i have to make any of this up. I'm just trying to give the honest truth and save anyone else from wasting...

First time ordering from Sky Lounge and was unfortunately very disappointed. We ordered online at 5:30pm. It was a Saturday night, so we expected that it would take a while and that was no concern. The order said it would be ready at 6:30. Then 6:50. Then 7. We went to pick it up at 7, and the server told us that she had just rang it in and it would be 15 more minutes. We finally got the food at 7:40, over two hours after we placed it and a whole hour over the estimated time. The white tiger roll was pretty good, all other rolls we got were fine. As someone who has spent many years in the restaurant industry, it would be nice to see this place be adequately staffed for a busy night as to avoid this, or even just turn off online ordering if your establishment isn’t set up to handle it during busier nights. After spending a good chunk of money with no attempt from Sky Lounge to discount us for our wait or anything, we will likely not be ordering...

The atmosphere is modern and fun. The staff are very attentive and nice. It has a "wall" of craft beer spickets where you can sample different beers like Cherry Pie, or Chocolate, and they have a system in which you only pay for the number of ounces you pour at a time. They also have some wines that can be tasted in the same way.

I had crab Rangoon, tuna sushi, and Mongolian beef. The crab Rangoon was amazing. I could have eaten double the portion! The tuna sushi I won't get again. The tuna tasted fishy, and was dark pink. It was a little tough, like maybe it had been sitting a little while. It was wrapped in nori, which is common, but personally, I don't care for nori. That's on me, I didn't ask if I could get rice paper in stead. The Mongolian beef was excellent. I enjoyed every bite. I would go again, especially for more crab Rangoon and Mongolian beef, but I won't be...
