So im a little upset that this place literally added a tip to my order without me okaying it! Note- I don’t mind tipping…I DO mind when they do it for me without asking!
So here is the story (screenshots of transactions below), Sept 18th at 7:10pm I go through drive through and order a grande regular black coffee, and a grande pumpkin spice hot latte.. I thought I heard the lady at the speaker say “total is 9.95” when I get to window I hand her my card and she swipes it on the inside where I can’t see and I get card back and coffee and leave and I notice I got charged 10.95?! I said to myself I swore she said 9.95??! Did she just give herself a freaking tip without asking me?! I thought maybe I just misheard her at the speaker box and it was actually what they charged me but I was very skeptical….so today (Sunday sept 29th) at 6:53pm I went through drive thru again and ordered exact same order, nothing different and the total was infact 9.95 and it was what this lady charged my card! So it means the last time the First Lady did infact give herself a dollar tip!!! Since when do you have the right to give yourself a tip out of my debit card?! That is CRAZY!! Anytime before this they would put the card reader outside window and you have option to give a tip on screen and I always do, but in this case taking my card behind the glass and not giving an option really I didn’t think to ask so don’t get me wrong like I’m a non tipper here….regardless the point is they gave themselves a tip WITHOUT ASKING OR TELLING ME OR ANYTHING! I of course wanted to make sure I just didn’t hear the total correctly the first time at speaker box and it was infect 10.95 so I didn’t push it the other week but today now that I know I was correct I’m writing the review, because it is absolutely wrong to pay yourself anything out of someone else’s account without there permission, had you put the tip screen out the window I’d of gave you one on my own will but now I’m not even doing business with this location at all period, stealing from customers is a criminal...
Read moreI’ve been a loyal Starbucks customer for more than two decades, and have never experienced anything like this at any of the stores. At around 8:30 pm, I ordered three spinach, feta wraps at the drive through and asked they not be heated (I had driven two days across the USA for a special K9 competition, and needed to save time in the morning by heating breakfast at the hotel). At the pick up window, a young, new employee said she couldn’t sell them to me unheated, but didn’t understand why. I asked to speak to a supervisor (I’ve bought these items frozen from countless other stores without issue) who claimed the wraps contained uncooked ingredients, this was a new store under scrutiny, and she couldn’t sell the wraps to me frozen. Even after I explained I’d be driving the wraps a couple of miles and immediately putting them in the refrigerator, she refused the sale. Neither did she offer to heat the wraps for sale to me. I drove away shocked and indignant, but returned about 30 minutes later after a short visit to Walmart, across the parking lot. I asked again to speak to the supervisor, pointing out that none of the ingredients in the wrap were raw (the label actually states the item is fully cooked). After she acknowledged, one by one, the ingredients were not raw, she created another reason why she couldn’t sell them to me frozen. After arguing with her a few more minutes, I gave up and drove away, livid. The next morning, I woke extra early to drive to another Starbucks, and bought a heated wrap. After explaining my time crunch the next morning, the thoughtful, sales woman offered to set aside two additional frozen wraps for pick up that evening. I returned to the store that evening, and picked up the frozen wraps from the next shift with no issues. Was grateful to have them ready to microwave the next morning at the hotel, saving me much needed time for the competition. I can’t believe the woman at the first store was a supervisor. She was unfriendly, unreasonable, disrespectful and provided horrible...
Read moreIm what u might call a “frequent flyer” at Starbucks in general but this store is one i often find myself. Today and yesterday I was sadly let down! I have 2 specific orders i usually go for. One of which includes an add on of mango dragon fruit inclusions. On the app ordering you cannot request scoops of said fruit on the top of the drink. This is my favorite part of the drink to a point if i dont have that part is rather order my other drink. I asked this young lady if i could pay for 2 scoops of the dragon fruit inclusions but was informed its “not allowed” 😳! This normally wouldn’t be a big deal really but i have had one of the worst couple of weeks and today was no different. Working at a hospital is very mentally challenging a majority of the time so, its the little comforts that I look to in order to power on… the attitude was that she just didn’t want to deal with it and after getting completely ignored the day before when i went inside to get a bag of coffee beans (didnt even want them ground, i prefer to do this myself) I have to say I dont find myself returning to this location for a very long...
