At work we decided to order subway, I called to place order while driving to the store closest to work, different than the one I normally go to. The lady that took my order over the phone was super nice, I asked if I could swap ham for turkey on an Italian BMT she said of course, I also have a food allergy to something a coworker wanted on their sandwich so I asked if mine could be made separate to avoid cross contamination. I really try not to be difficult and I know it can be annoying, but I can't help being allergic. The lady was respectful and said it was no trouble at all and she read my order back perfectly. However, when I arrived to pay she was finishing up 2 of the 3 sandwiches and then someone else made the third "special one" and was handing it to the first lady who checked me out as I approached the register.The first lady, again was great and explained two subs were in their own bag and my special sub was in another and there was no risk of cross contamination. I got back to work and went to eat, my sandwich didn't have turkey. I guess if I had to choose a problem I'd rather have this than an allergic reaction but my sandwich ended up being bread and salami with 3 cucumbers and 3 little strands of bell peppers, It wasn't very good. We made an online order and for some reason she didn’t have the receipt and was annoyed that I didn’t know what everyone’s orders were, so I had to call on them on the phone. After she gave me the food and said “no drinks right?” I said “no, there should be drinks” and she slammed the sliding window shut. She then came back and said she found the receipt. Read moreI marked a perfect star because food and employees are fine. I question the ownerships lack of providing email or number to reach about a concern. The kiosk ordering at drive through is slow and lack of personal contact. Prices did not go down with this just number of people needed to run the business went down. No up sales happen because it’s easy to say no to a screen. No fun personal interaction that makes you stand out over any other sandwich shop. I hope the owners the best.
