My experience at this particular Subway was short and unwelcomed. I arrived at about 8:45. When I got in the store I stood there and waited for a few minutes before I even saw anybody behind the counter. There was a young blond working there by herself and she got my food and totalled it up and asked if this was for here or to go. I told her it was for here and paid the total. After I got done paying and went to sit down she told me that she'll be closing the lobby soon, just to let me know, they close at 9. I said okay and sat down. I was under the assumption that she meant that she would be locking the doors and just wanted to let me know. However what she meant is that I was going to sit down and take a couple bites of my sandwich then she was going to tell me that she was closing the lobby and make me leave. I was a little caught off guard by this but I guess if that's their policy then I will leave. Anywhere else I've ever been a person gets to finish their meal as long as they get in there before the restaurant closes but whatever. So I leave and go outside to my car. My sister and I stand out there with the baby for about 20 minutes before actually leaving and saw the girl was still cleaning in the back when we left. This means that she had no reason to make me leave after two bites of my sandwich and sitting for only 2 minutes because she was in the back cleaning and could have easily let me finish my meal like any decent restaurant. my big question is why in the world would she ask me if it's for here or to go rather than just insisting I could only get it to go? That would have been much more polite. Anyways I thought it was very rude customer service and I feel that she probably broke some policy or rule because I've never heard of a place just making people leave exactly at closing time, mid meal. if that were the case you would expect that they would stop accepting guests sometime before the doors closed. P.S. I get chicken teriyaki subs pretty often and the one I tasted at the subway was not like the others. There was something about the way it tasted that wasn't very good. I'm not sure what it was exactly but there was definitely something off about that sub in comparison to the normal chicken teriyaki and it was something that made it not taste very good at all. Unfortunately I didn't have enough time to actually the sandwich to get a good enough taste to...
Read moreThis Subway has a lot of issues beginning with the one lady that has all pink hair she is completely rude to customers she was even rude to my three little boys she also was trying to not give us the correct portion of meats and then proceeded to argue with me saying that I was wrong well I just pulled up Subway's corporate website where it shows how much meat goes on what then she was like okay and switched it I also noticed there walking is broke its wide open they have all their sauces and their little bottles when those are open from the bag those are supposed to be refrigerated like any sauce should be the older lady that does work there I did want to say she was great she was friendly outgoing and she had great customer service skills and I just wish the lady with the pink hair was like that as well she was rude and snotty and acted like she was mad because she kept running out of things and then she would go in the back and grab them and have like an attitude I just won't be back at the subway I don't feel like being treated like that even my kids noticed it and if my kids are noticing that means we have a problem so I figured I'd go ahead and put it on reviews so hopefully she may see this and may change...
Read moreI went late at night first off, the major killer for this Subway is it's location the parking lot makes absolutely no sense and you get in and out of it by pure luck simply crossing your fingers you don't get in a wreck. While the girl was nice to me and took my order without issue she completely ignored my friends existence as he was trying to ask for a sandwich. May have saved me a couple bucks but you shouldn't completely ignore your job just because you don't want to do it. The meat had the taste and texture of being on the make table for too long I asked for it to be toasted and I doubt I heard one crunch out of my bread the entire time I ate it. (Aka wasn't toasted enough) out of the subways in Springfield this is definitely my least favorite the building itself looks trashy and like there wasn't enough room to fit everything on the inside very crowded and cramped seating etc. They put about as much effort into finding workers as they did picking the location. Therefore,...
