Flaming Wok — Restaurant in Springfield

First: This place uses Door Dash for their delivery services and directs you to order online. I can only assume the order is then sent to the DD delivery driver for pickup.

Now, to start, I placed my order online and the order receipt said it would be there by 7:15pm. At 7:14pm, I get a notification that the order has been delivered to my address. Now, my address is very easy to find when entered into any GPS system. I checked outside my door, nothing. I tried to call the phone number given by the online third party, and no answer. Shortly after, I get a call back, I answer and the DD Driver tries to tell me that she delivered my food to my address, I told her that is impossible because I was waiting outside for her. The driver then tells me she couldn't find the address. I tried to direct her to the location but she refused and made up excuses. I told her to return the food to the store.

This was the first time we went here after the previous Chinese place closed. The workers were really nice and tried their hardest to make sure that everyone's needs were met! The food was amazing! One of the best Chinese places in town! The General chicken was extremely spicy which is the right way to make it! The shrimp lo mein was also delicious and the shrimp was cooked perfectly, most places in town over cook the shrimp but they cooked it just right! They might not have the best looking facility, but the food and service 100% make up for that! You can see the kitchen when at the front counter and you can see how clean the kitchen is! Everything was exceptional and I hope more people try...

Ordered to go. The lady who took my order was very friendly. I got honey chicken w/ fried rice and a half order of crab rangoon. Was $14ish, which is higher than I'm used to for chinese but I will say the portion sizes are BIG, enough for two people. The chicken is really good, light and crispy with an excellent flavor--not soggy after the drive home like some other places. The crab rangoon is also great. Unfortunately, I got home to discover I had been given white rice instead of fried rice...it's fine, but not what I ordered and paid for. I'll be back because the chicken is good and I want to try other things but I'll definitely be making sure my order is correct before...
