My husband went to this location to buy a bag of chips and sauce to go with the dinner we made. A couple layers down in the bag was a dozen chips with black mold all over them ( my husband is allergic to mold). I drove back to the store and was greeted by an older woman sitting in a chair behind the counter. I showed her the moldy chips, then she yelled for the manager. I waited an unreasonable time for the manager to come and address the issue. When he did come to the counter he just said he didn't know how this could happen since the chips are made fresh everyday. (Besides the mold, the other chips were stale, not fresh). I didn't go in there upset or wanting to cause a scene, I just wanted to refund. The manager told me how much the chips were and I told him I wanted a full refund for my purchase ($6.29 total).The older woman asked if I brought the sauce back. I told her no I didn't bring the sauce back, she then told me I wouldn't get a full refund because I didn't return everything we bought. At this point, I was getting extremely frustrated with the lack of good service. I asked her if she was the manager, no was her reply. I looked at the gentleman and asked if he was to be in charge, he said yes so I started directing my questions towards him. The older woman continued to argue with me, with the manager by her, about my refund. Even after telling the manager and the old woman that my husband is allergic to mold, that I took a picture of the chips before I came into the restaurant, and I was going to call the health inspector, She was still mouthy. This woman named Carol has awful customer service skills, and I can't believe the manager didn't repremand her right then and there. My husband tried to get me to eat here forever. As if the appearance of the location isn't enough to keep you away from it....I hope my review will keep you away...
Read moreThis is the SECOND time we have gone inside to avoid the long line at the drive through. We ALWAYS order over the phone so we just have to pick our food up at the window and take about 2 minutes. When other people are in line ahead of us that have not called ahead, we wait about 30 minutes each car ahead. So we recently have decided to go straight inside to pick it up hoping it would be faster. No. We get a blank stare from the cashier... no “Hello, how may I help you?”, “can I get your order?” Or any sort of greeting at all. Then, they hand us the number or whatever and have us wait. The kid puts the stuff in the microwave and continues to walk away and jabber to the rest of the employees. Forgets our order is in the microwave. We watch every car in the drive through get their food and leave while we are STILL sitting and waiting for our take out (ordered ahead, mind you). Then, the same kid goes back to the microwave 10 minutes later and realizes that he forgot about our food. Then we get our food. Get outside and no cars left in the drive through lane. Should’ve just waited I guess since obviously it’s not a rush if the people are inside the building instead of in their car. 😒 We love the food here but come on. Read moreI’ve lived in Springfield nearly my whole life this has always been a fav place to eat with a wait time of fifteen minutes tops even if the restaurant was super busy I tried to call in a order the phone wasn’t answered I found that strange so we went up there I walked in the first thing I noticed was the dining area was filthy never saw that before when I turned around the kitchen was clearly overturned and food everywhere I went to place my order and I was told the order wouldn’t be ready for forty five minutes to a hour with only three people there who was already eating many people was coming in and also getting turned away they still had two hours open for business I didn’t understand nor did the other patrons I drove to the glenstone location where I had my food in five minutes tops there’s something seriously wrong with this never will I go back to the Kearney street location the male at the register was quite rude they had several people working where at the other location only two and offered ten times the service an quick prompt...
