Visited on a late Sunday morning for breakfast. There were about a half-dozen tables with patrons but plenty of empty tables. You can either order at the counter or they will give you a menu so you can look it over and they will take your order at the table. The staff (probably the owners) were extremely helpful and accommodating. Breakfast ordering was easy and very reasonably priced. Service time was fine. Looking at the full menu we plan on returning for lunch or dinner to try out lots of delicious-sounding offerings. (I didn't rate the food simply because it would have been based just on scrambled eggs.)

Been looking for a new breakfast spot in the Springfield, Ma area? Visit The Farmer's Restaurant at 600 Belmont Ave. Warmly welcomed and able to choose your own table or have the ability to walk up and order at the counter and see a view of some of the available lunch fare already ready. Breakfast, lunch, dinner to choose from for a visit. Stopped in for breakfast and had a perfectly cooked meat lovers omelet with nicely seasoned home fries and a side of beef pastallilos. The lunch menu looked delicious and inviting along with a very friendly staff and owner which will lead me to visit again.

I'm sorry but for two dollars to add strawberries they cut 1.5 strawberries in half.... that's ridiculous prices are a little too expensive nowadays to be this cheap. I don't expect to pay a whole dollar just for a strawberry... that's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Please do better next time. I did not get any cutlery, nor did I even get syrup for my French toast, and the hash barely had any corn beef it was mostly potatoes and peppers… So double potatoes instead of getting a protein like I paid for… for $25, I think you guys can do better than this.

I ordered food at 10:40am online and the website said 45 minutes which is normal for a restaurant so I don't mind. An hour goes by but no notification but whatever maybe it's taking long. So I called a bit after to confirm that I will be getting a text or call when the food is ready and the lady on the phone said "yes when the cooks are done with the order there is a button we press and it notifies you that it is ready" so go to the place and I wait outside for a notification and I still get none an hour and a half later, at the hour 45 mark I got a bit tired of waiting so I went inside to ask about my order (its 12:10pm at this point) and I see it sitting on the shelf under a lamp and when I approached the desk the guy goes "oh are you coming in for the food right here, you called not too long ago right" and I said yes not thinking much of it but if he obviously knew that it was ready and suspected it was me why not call back and let me know (my number was on the receipt stapled on the bag), so I take the food and go home to reheat up the food and eat and when I get there I notice part of the order is missing, so I call back and ask the lady on the phone if they can either make the rest of the order if they could do the whole order again since all the food was cold and they never notified me, she says that's fine and she'll give me another call in 10-15 minutes to let me know, 30 minutes go buy and no call back, at the 45 minute mark I call back and she says she is going to get the manager then I am greeted by probably the rudest person I've spoken too in a while and he is very obviously mad at me for no apparent reason and starts saying things like "we make our food with love and it was ready for you but it's your fault that you were two hours late when the food was ready" so I say "sir I was told that I would get a notification when the food was ready and I never did" and then he says "where in the website does it say that we will tell you when the food is ready" (they require you to enter in a phone number and an email when ordering so they can contact you when it's ready on the website), I respond by saying "sir the lady I spoke to on the phone told me there is a button you guys press once you guys fill the order that notifies the customer when it's ready" and he is still going Ina by how it's my fault that I was two hours late and he says "we're not supposed to tell you when the food is ready" and I go "so am I just supposed to know when it's ready and show up" and he says "yes" and the entire time we're talking over the phone he is giving me attitude and raising his voice even though im being very calm and respectful to him. I wouldn't have cared as much if he wasn't so rude to me without speaking to me calmly and respectfully first because things like this happen and were all humans and make mistakes. But he was rude and disrespectful for me for no reason so I felt the need to leave a review and...

I wanted to leave an honest review because when I was deciding whether to try this place for breakfast all the reviews are either 5 stars or 1. Prices: Very fair compared to other breakfast places. Food: My eggs Benedict with pastrami was great. Home fries are good, we enjoyed them but not standout. Hash was not impressive, I would not recommend. My wife got the standard 2 egg breakfast. Bacon was good, but scrambled eggs weren't fluffy. My daughter got the breakfast sandwich, which was on a large water roll. Service: Service was fine, alot of complaints in reviews about a long time waiting for food. I will admit for a Monday morning I was a little surprised by how long it took. Not obnoxiously long, but at least they came by to refill the coffee while we waited. I would recommend a second cook. I can definitely see this as a place I would avoid on a weekend. Restaurant: Nice place, very clean

Overall I would go for breakfast again on a weekday. Definitely interested in trying the lunch menu. As a Springfield native I hope this place makes it long enough to fine-tune the service and become a staple in...

I recommend this restaurant a 1 star. The staff was very rude, aggressive and misleading. I was told that I would be notified in around 45 minutes when the food would be done, I waited over 2 hours until I actually got the food. I called in multiple different times checking in on my order, they said I would be notified when it would be done. Eventually after calling multiple times and waiting for an extended period of time, I decided to go to the restaurant and go in to check it out. The staff was rude and my food was sitting their under the lamp for a long time and was cold when I got home with it. It was also missing food that I ordered and when I called about the manager was extremely disrespectful and rude. Blaming me that I wasn't notified for the food, the order missing food, and that the food was cold. I do not...
