The Vanilla Bean — Restaurant in Springfield

Honestly not very good. The ice cream wasn’t bad but wasn’t very good either they had a lot of out there options none of the usual popular ones, they don’t have any of the options that it says on their google menu no sugar free options. The service was very sub par the man helping us was very short kinda all over the place. We asked for a dairy free option the man said they don’t have anything and we referenced the menu online saying it had sherbet he said he wasn’t sure why it said that because they don’t have that he said they have a dairy free vanilla and then took out a regular bryers oat milk ice cream that you could buy at Walmart. Then once we were just about done another family came in and asked for rainbow sherbet and lo and behold they had some in the fridge. Will not be returning. You’d have better luck...

Came to this place by accident. Thankfully Abe’s Hideout had The Vanilla Beans menu on our table. I didn’t even know it was there and I drive by all the time!! My grandson had a lemon cheese cake scoop in a waffle cone and I can’t remember the name of mine but it was vanilla ice cream with caramel. Yum. I will probably go back tonight with my husband. Please support this...

Forgot to take a picture but the ice cream was great and the service was even better! I came in pretty late and they were friendly as ever and were so patient with my indecisiveness. I wish I’d found this place earlier in the week because they have so many options I want to try like a muffin Sunday and brownie bowls! I’ll definitely be back next time...
