UNO Pizzeria & Grill — Restaurant in Springfield

Ordered Items to Go. Got home. Mashed Potato side missing. This makes a nice side for the meal, for even the next day. Got cheated out of a meal.

Ordered Cheddar Mushroom Burger w/ Bacon, Medium Well.

Got a Burger w/ 1/3-1/4 slice of Cheddar, barely visible. No Mushrooms. Burger Cooked Medium Rare..Gross. Still cold in the middle w/ sinouie strings of uncooked meat. On several ocassions recently, the Burgers are cold, dry, minimalist, & not prepared with love. In the past, they were juicy, hot, mouthwatering, with melted cheese evenly on top, mushrooms you could see, and bacon that did not look, & taste like it sat in oil, for several days, or reused from burgers that did not sell.. Actually the last two (2) Burger takeouts, tasted dull, were cold, and not put together with care, or made with love..

Also ordered the Grilled Salmon, and Shrimp Skewers. Had to throw out the Grilled Shrimp. Wife didn’t try the Salmon yet, upset at everything else. She just went to bed.

Also ordered the Ricotta Meatball deep dish Pizza. The slices were also inconsistent. Only two out of eight slices, had a piece of meatball. One just had a chunk of tomato, & only one had a 1/4 of a mushroom. The rest just had tomato sauce. The slice of meatball was cold, & uncooked, not very tasty, & definitely not worth it, if only one slice had a 1/4 of a mushroom.. Not tasty, tomato sauce like pure canned tomato paste. No flavor, just bitter.

Had to throw out broccoli side. Somehow overcooked, but hard & rubbery. Inedible, could not be chewed. Even raw, or overcooked would of been better. I guess they tried to nuke it?

Ordered 2 Liquid Ambrosia’s. There was No Alcohol put in the drinks. The cups are filled to the top w/ ice, leaving room for 1/2 cup flavorings & Alcohol. This has been consistent though for past 12 drinks.

Ordered a Muddy Snowman. This is about the 7th time I ordered this Drink. It always comes like a Chocolate Shake, w/,Alcohol, topped w/ Whipped Cream, & Marshmallows.

Today, it was filled with Ice, in a watery slurry, that may have contained at some point 2 Tablespoons of some kind of, what looked like may have been vanilla ice cream, but now a liquid drink, with ice cubes in it, with some chocolate syrup. So you wind up crunching on ice instead of a nice thick cold chocolate shake, as in the past.. Once I did get it with no marshmallows,or sprinkles, & so was surprised the other times I ordered it had sprinkles, & marshmallows..

Very disappointing! Not at all the consistency we have had in the past.

For a restaurant to be successful, it must be consistent. So people know what to expect, and are eager to order, get the food, go home, & indulge.

Especially if you liked certain items, & want to recommend to friends.

You cannot recommend this Uno’s to anyone. Because you don’t know, what you, or they might get, or find, or not find when they get home..

I came here to watch my friend play. I arrived at 6pmand was seated on the patio. I was given water and a menu from the Manager. At 6:20 two other groups were seated and waited on. At this point no one came to ask for my order. I went inside to the bar and got a drink. My table was cleared and given to someone else. After 30 minutes I was still not waited on. I ordered chicken wings on the online app stating my order will be ready in 30 mins. At this point I have gotten my 3rd beer from the bar and still have not been waited on.

At 30 minutes. I went to the front to get my chicken wings. I paid and they said they're not ready. 50 minutes go by and my chicken wings are still not ready. I asked for a refund and they gave it to me.

The manager said you should have told me. I explained I am also in Management and her staff seemed all over the place and unorganized. Also, I should not bother her with something as little not being waited on since I was able to get my beer from the bar and food online. I stated the app said 30 minutes. She stated that was an estimate and I would be waiting over 50 mins if I sat in the empty restaurant for wings. I do not agree with that response. I told her im still going to sit outside and enjoy the band and asked to be waited on. No one ever came to wait on me. Very disappointed in the organization and customer treatment.

Update: I tipped the bartender $14 cash for 3 Miller lite's. I was then informed he went and complained to the band falsly stating I was yelling and being a rude customer. I encourage the manager to look at the tapes. I do not appreciate being lied about after I left a tip that cost more...

I'm actually not very happy with UNO's. Apart from sub-par food and a 99 style layout, I'd prefer good old Chili's any day. First, it was my boyfriend's 59th birthday. His daughter made certain to call ahead to make arrangements. She was advised they couldn't make arrangements regarding birthdays or special occasions as they didn't know who our server would be. Okay, understandable. Once we arrived, we chose a table outside where coincidentally, 3 other birthdays were happening. I excused myself and spoke privately with the bartender (a short dark haired girl who assured me she'd alert the waitress and bring the requested dessert.) I also approached the waitress (a larger dark-haired girl with finger nails that rival the Sistine Chapel..perhaps this was why I found a piece of green goo glitter in my water...but I digress...) After the heavily painted waitress brought the birthday boy the wrong dinner all together, she apparently forgot to bring out his birthday stuff...even when the band leader went around the room announcing "all the birthdays in the house." Having basically ruined any possible surprise factor, I went ahead and started serving a cake I had (LUCKILY) brought from home. THAT apparently did not remind our server, even when I bluntly said, "Would you mind please bringing us 4 cake plates, as it's his birthday?" Geez, can you have a worse possible celebration? It was bad enough that he was already disappointed because his present didn't fit but to have this fiasco was just horrible. I don't think I can possibly recommend this restaurant to anyone...
