Veronica's Bakery & Café — Restaurant in Springfield

The food is great and I know they have a location in Springfield as well. I was around the area with some friends and wanted some of their food! Unfortunately, the customer service there is despicable. I would not recommend going here at all. The lady’s were rude and said they couldn’t take multiple orders - “I would tell you the total for each but I’m busy so just place a whole order.” I understood, but we would’ve called individually and it would be the same thing. Regardless, we were placing the orders together, but she was condescending, inpatient and rude and we ended up not placing the order at all! Extremely disappointed in this place they really need to hire new people. My other friends did place an order and called separately but they put both of their food in one bag with only one bag of curtido for both orders, when it should be one each per order. Good food, bad people. Would not recommend if you want your day ruined by...

Really great food! Felt like I was eating a meal made from my mom.The ingredients felt quality and the portions were generous. My fiancé and I went in for Brunch on a Saturday. It was not busy and I was surprised because the food was delicious. We had 2 drinks (Tamarindo and Horchata) I had the Desayuno Hondureño and he had a Bagel Sandwich (eggs, melted cheese, bacon and ham) with Salchipapas. Everything was delicious! I am Mexican and my fiancé is Salvadorian and they had a section for everyone. I still need to try the bakery. The atmosphere is not the nicest, some nice paint and homey touches would make it seem more inviting. The customer service is okay not super friendly...

Rude waitress and the food is always late. Two girls one with a green t-shirt who took our order were really rude and they did not let us eat inside even when it was 50 minutes before the closing time. They were looking at us with anger like if we dis something to them. I guess it was too late for them. When my friend and I left the place one of them sarcastically said something insinuating that we needed to live because It was late. Wow I don’t understand how people like them can be working on coustumer service. Because it is not the first time they do that but this time it was the worst.
