Restaurant Review: A Disappointing Experience
I recently visited Victor’s Grill Churrasquearía with my family, consisting of seven members, including two four-year-olds. The intention was to enjoy a nice meal together while accommodating the toddlers' specific food preferences. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by an encounter with the staff that left much to be desired.
Upon entering the restaurant, I inquired whether the toddlers could eat their previously purchased McDonald's meals while the adults dined. Instead of a warm welcome or a polite response, I was met by a non-verbal host who pointed to a small sign high on the wall. This lack of communication felt rude and dismissive, especially considering her role in customer service.
When I pressed for clarification on whether this was a strict rule regarding toddlers, the host fetched a gentleman who reiterated the information on the sign and offered an apology. However, this did little to alleviate my frustration. Given the picky nature of young children and the food they were accustomed to, I suggested we could simply dispose of the Happy Meal boxes and allow them to eat on napkins. This request was also turned down, leaving me feeling disregarded as a parent trying to make the best of the situation.
After deciding to leave, I went back in briefly to ask for a to-go menu, only to be told there were none available. I expressed my thoughts on the situation, arguing that allowing two toddlers to eat a few chicken nuggets wouldn't have significantly impacted the restaurant's bottom line, and we would have likely spent much more had we been treated with respect. The gentleman apologized again and extended an invitation to return, but by then, it felt too late. My family was already preparing to leave.
While my in-laws have always praised this restaurant, my experience was overshadowed by the lack of verbal communication and respect from the initial host. It’s unfortunate, as I had hoped for a pleasant dining experience. Regrettably, due to this encounter, I do not foresee returning to Victor’s Grill...
Read moreThe menu has a lot of variety and that's what caught my eye since I love steakhouses and have driven by here many times. We ordered the half parrillada: argentina and it was a good amount of food for two people. The steak came out medium rare as we asked but it really didn't taste like it had much seasoning. The chorizo was full of flavor though and the milanesa sandwich was surprisingly very good (wish they added a condiment though haha but we asked for mayo). The way everything came together in that sandwich worked really well.
The plantains were just okay but the mashed potatoes were SO good and creamy. Maybe the best thing on the menu
Service could have been better. After being greeted it took around ten minutes before anyone came back to take our order and our waitress didn't check on the table much during the meal. It felt a little unorganized and we had to go find the waitress and ask for a to go box and the check.
Overall there were definitely some standout items With more consistent service and better seasoning on the steak this place could easily be five stars. Here's my ratings!
Steak: 7.5/10 Chorizo: 9/10 Milanesa: 8.5/10 Mash Potatoes: 10/10!! Plantains:...

My husband and I went to Victor Grill today, Sunday, August 3rd, around 3:45 PM, and had one of the worst customer service experiences we’ve ever had.
When we arrived, a male server greeted us at the entrance, as the sign says “please wait to be seated.” He sat us down and handed us the menu—but never returned. For the next 20 minutes, no one checked on us.
There were only three tables with food, and the three servers—the same man and two women—were all singing happy birthday to one of the tables. Even after that, they stayed seated together, chatting, while we were still waiting to be served.
Eventually, we got up and left. None of them said a word. No one asked if we had been helped, if something was wrong, or even acknowledged us walking out.
This was not just poor service—it was blatant neglect. We were ready to enjoy a meal, but we were treated as if we were invisible. Absolutely unacceptable and extremely...
