Games Workshop — Local services in Springfield

I want to give a specific shoutout to Nate at the Springfield shop! Im not only new to the world of warhammer (other than Rogue Trader) but im new to the world of figures, painting, and battling.

I've had the pleasure of working with Nate 3 times now (in a more frequent succession than is probably reasonable) and he has only made me more excited to be part of the community.

Not overselling me on things I didn't need, giving me advice on where to start, encouraging the rule of cool, and taking the time to encourage me to go slow and not get overwhelmed.

I decided to take the leap into painting yesterday and drove in to buy some stuff. Nate gave me an impromptu lesson in painting practices and set me up with the basics.

GW Tower Center compared to other Wargames stores in the Northern VA area, is out of this world. I have been to this location over the years and so far it's been the best I've seen under Dave's management at this location. The store had been cleaned up and reorganized so it's more roomy and the atmosphere is more enjoyable. Dave's service compared to previous managers, is top notch. He is knowledgeable, will get you what you need and will make recommendations on the GW product line. His Painting expertise is also very helpful. It's a warhammer game store, but their experts on painting minis and terrain. Extremely friendly and welcoming environment with attentive staff. I 3d print, so we were looking for a starting place on how to paint the things I've made myself and they had all the answers. They even host painting classes for a reasonable price.
