STAY AWAY!
On 6/17, my mom was double-charged for 2 items totalling $9.61 and also sold a bag of cherries for $6.58 that turned out to be rotten. She is just too old and frail to have realized this on the spot (or the fact that her printed original receipt was incorrectly date-stamped 6/14 instead of 6/17. When I stopped by the very next day to request appropriate refunds, I was assisted by three extremely rude employees who kept arguing that I had no proof of anything I was claiming, that their cash register technology absolutely never fails, and that the receipt clearly states that there is only a 2-day window for returns/exchanges, which they claimed had expired. Two of them even began to pull up videotape recordings on a screen, looking to find me on video and telling me they don't see me anywhere (when I repeatedly reminded them it should be my Mom's image they're looking for; not mine). One kept insisting that I return some other day when a manager would be on duty. Oh really? No manager on duty?
When I accepted to forgo the refund on the cherries and asked to at least be reimbursed for the over-rings, one of them actually started waving goodbye at me. This type of customer service is entirely unacceptable and more than enough to suggest they WILL (or at least should) go out of business if this is the business approach they're going to pursue. Shame on this shambolic operation!
By the way, many reviews cite cheap produce prices, but the truth is their prices are NOT one bit cheaper than the Giant that used to occupy this...

First My boyfriend wanted to buy 2 cases Longan and 1 case rambutan and he told the front desk. a old man (I think he is the owner of store) . He directed my boyfriend to paid first. My boyfriend told cashier exactly what he want. The old man came to the cashier station double check before he got them. For some reason they did not charge right. They treat us like we were stealer. We had big quarrel. Finally one lady came said sorry about it happened. Tried to give us one case rambutan as apologized. We did not take it. We do not want free stuff. Read moreWent in with low expectations honestly, great selection of international canned/non perishable items but decided to make home made Pho, so I got Beef Bones on Saturday (June 4th), these have been in my fridge and I went to cook them today (June 7th) and they are all green and smell so foul! Look at the sell by date (June 11th). I can’t imagine other meats and seafood sold there and how sick you can get from how poorly they handle it, let alone customer service when asked for a replacement or refund. Makes me sick!
