I recently stumbled upon DT's Coffee Shop during a visit to Spruce Pine, North Carolina, and it turned out to be an absolute delight for coffee enthusiasts like me. Tucked away in this charming town, DT's is a true hidden gem that offers a wonderful coffee experience.
Upon entering DT's, I was immediately greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The cozy interior, with its comfortable seating arrangements and rustic decor, created a welcoming ambiance that made me feel right at home. The staff members were friendly and passionate about their craft, adding to the overall positive vibe of the place.
Now, let's talk about the coffee! DT's boasts an impressive selection of carefully sourced beans and a variety of brewing methods that cater to every taste preference. Whether you're a fan of a classic espresso, a pour-over aficionado, or prefer a smooth cold brew, you'll find something to satisfy your coffee cravings here. I appreciated the baristas' expertise and attention to detail in crafting each cup of coffee. The flavors were rich, aromatic, and perfectly balanced, showcasing the quality of the beans and the skill of...
Read moreSimply amazing! The cheese grits are what keeps me going back! Chef salad is great! Pastries are delish! Coffees good & the staff are wonderful! I've got to edit at this point. *If you are wanting a quick lunch, this isn't a great option. It can get slammed and they sometimes won't pick up the phone for to go orders. The ordering process in line can be really slow & although they do have a large staff, expediting doesn't seem to be a priority. Communication between staff members seems lacking. After telling a staff member I would have to come back for a salad that had already taken 20 minutes not counting the time it took to walk down bc they wouldn't answer the phone & the 8 min I stood in line, when I returned and inquired about a good time to try & call in the future for to go lunch orders the manager scolded me, insisting she had been calling me for 40 minutes, when I had only been gone for 20 and my salad was already paid for. Lunch rush is 11 pm-2pm and she said to guarantee they answer the phone, do not call between these times. Super...
Read moreWe stopped by for some breakfast before a hike, and absolutely fell in love! The whole atmosphere and staff was exceptional. While we didn’t quite know what we wanted, (everything looked so good) I didn’t feel rushed and felt cared for in just the short time we were ordering. I ended up getting a breakfast bowl and mini chicken sandwich, amazing!! The coffees were the best I’ve ever tried. On top of being so good, they are affordable too! I will recommend them to everyone I can! There’s also additional seating in the back, so there’s plenty of space for large families. Take my word for it, this place is worth stopping in!
Thank you for such an amazing experience, while we aren’t locals your restaurant alone is worth...
