Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken — Restaurant in St. Ann

I had not been to Lee's for many yrs., because of a bad experience with Chicken Gizzards, that were wayyyyy too salty & overfried or as some call them " cooked hard". They were hard & very tough & chewy. I decided to try Lee's & see if anything had changed from yrs. past & I was pleasantly surprised. Their Roasted Chicken was delicious, tender & juicy. The Sides were much better & reminded me of Home Cooked, my only complaint with them would be the Baked Beans were a lil' thick, but they had verygood flavor. The Coleslaw was very tasty also, not vinegar based, but nice & creamy. The item that stole the show for me though was the absolutely delicious Biscuits!!! They are a cross between a fluffy Dinner Roll & a Biscuit & I could make a meal out of them OMG!!!, put some butter & Strawberry Jelly on them & U have some goooood eating!!! I've been purchasing a 1/2 Dozen just for myself when I visit now. The Chicken Fried Steak Meal was not what I was expecting as it was small & covered with brown gravy instead of cream gravy. It was not crispy, but the overall flavor was not bad. The Apple Turnovers were so, so as I feel, that they could use Icing or cinnamon sugar on them to give them some sweetness. The Chocolate Molten Fudge Brownie is delicious, t by e only thing that it was missing was a scoop of delicious, creamy Ice cream. I am curious how their delicious Biscuits would taste if they were brushed with a Honey Burrer?? Overall Lee's is a decent place & they have upgraded & improved some of their menu items. They have a customer as long as they keep those Biscuits!!!. Their prices are fair, but a lil' high on their Chicken Meals compared to other Chicken establishments. The inside is very welcoming, roomy, & comfortable. I was also impressed, that this Lee's destination seemed to have a All Female Kitchen which was nice & impressive, just make sure that they listen to ur order thoroughly & that U check ur order when given to U before U walk out of the...

Dirty place.Even workers where dirty and lazy.I went on Friday in July around 7:30 pm.They handed me my food very quickly so somthn told me to look in the box before I pulled off.So the chicken was visually old before I even touched it.i opened up a wing and drumstick and they where dry on the inside.So I went back around and asked could I have some fresh chicken and that's when she told me that I had to wait 20-30,then I said it don't have to be completely fresh as long as it's not several hours old.So I pulled around and they said that the chicken that had just came up was the same chicken that I had ten minutes ago.Mind u the restaurant is kind of busy so why am I getting the same chicken. Lost my business, I went to this location ordered two 5 PC meals as well as 3 PC 2 legs thigh and a kids meal mac and cheese . The gentleman came to the window and said we have crispy chicken left when ordered original. Not knowing crispy is spice and my kids cant eat spicy . I called spoke to that same gentleman, who apologized because he didnt clarify at the window its SPICY. He took my name down as well as what I ordered. I visited this location yesterday since the other night I could not return my food 5 mins till closing they couldn't give me ORGINAL chicken when they closed in 5 MINS. The lady in drive thru was rude acted as if I was trying to get free food said it's a policy I need my receipt or the food. She said my names not in the book . MY NAMES IN THAT BOOK .
