Fanny's Thai Roll Ice Cream — Restaurant in St. Charles

The fruit was freezer burned. Old fruit from the freezer. I've been to the Fanny's in Elgin and i thought they use fresh fruit but at this location the fruit was frozen. The one in Elgin is much better than this one. Service was slow too. Only one person working. I am adding to my review because the owner or managers response was ridiculous. I am unable to respond to it so i am adding it here. I wish i took a picture of the old fruit at the time to post here. I am not helping any other business like the owner said. Just making it clear the service was very slow. I didn't go there a few weeks ago. I went there in early march . Just didn't review it until a few weeks ago. Also if i was trying to help another business why would i tell people the other location in elgin is better? It's still Fanny's. Ice cream secrets? seriously??? Absolutely trash customer service. The guy that works here is rude and unprofessional. Should be fired asap. Was rude to my family and small child. Didnt know it was so wrong to watch you guys make the food. Not like you're doing anything special. I guess it's a reason for you to lash out and be rude to us.

You really need to work on your appearance and hygiene. Constantly sweaty and dripping onto food, your hair is too long and your facial hair is unkempt. Not someone I'd want prepping my food.

Tonight was our first time going here for rolled ice cream and a popping boba drink. We usually go to another place that’s further away and wanted to try something new. Sadly the experience wasn’t the best. The popping boba drink was not good at all. It was an overwhelming taste of green tea and you couldn’t taste the boba flavor. They only have a select amount of rolled ice cream options to choose from. You can’t pick and choose. Prices are way too high for what you are getting.
