Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in St. Cloud

Our waitress, appeared...dizzy? She was walking around doing wait r ess things. She took our order, my friends got some soup to start their meal and it came out right away....we didn't see her again for about 20 minutes. My friends finished their soup and I saw her walk by and asked her if we could have our beverages. She appologized and ran off. She came back with our soda then asked us if we were ready to order. We let her know that we already ordered with her and are waiting for the rest of our food. Terrified look on her face and she ran off I to the back without saying anything. She came back about 5 minutes later and asked us for our orders again.

Maybe another 20 minutes and she returned with our food and appologized. She said it's so slow right now and we have a Mexican cook back there...I have to go order the food in Spanish and he must not have understood me. She finishes her bizzare apology by saying but that's DEI am I right or am I right?

The French fries had the consistency of spaghetti noodles, liquid was running out of my burger. One friend had burnt onion rings l, my other friends advised the soup didn't seem right. We tried to eat but we couldn't eat it was absolutely awful. We paid the 70 something tab and started writing a scathing review on the little table tablet. About halfway through our tablet just turned off? The waitress appeared at our table drenched in sweat She started throwing out boxes and thanked us for comming. We left the boxes and the partially eaten food at the table and left to go find something to eat.

Some ofnthe comments made by my friends when leaving included.

"She had to be on drugs" "Did they just microwave everything?" "I hope we didn't tip, probably would use it on Xanax or something."

We will never return to...

If I could leave no stars and still leave a review I would. Let me start by first stating I understand we are in a pandemic and on stay at home orders. But if you're going to tell your customers via your website that their food should be ready and delivered in 45 min-60 min from ordering then you should probably keep them updated when it won't be done. It is current'y 8:28pm We ordered our food at 5:30pm Not once has the restaurant answered there phones the several times we have tried to contact them in the past 3 hours. Also their door dash delivery driver at least had some form of customer service and answered the 2 times we called him. And then the door dash guy finally called us back just now at 8:30 to let us know he will finally be here in about 10 min. However he asked the restaurant several times about our order and they only said the very first time that they were about 30-45 min behind which still should have put our food to us about 7:15. We ordered $130 worth of food and well if it is cold I will be back to edit this review. Edit: not only did it take over 3 hrs but our food was barely warm all the burgers looked and felt like they sat for well over 30 plus min before delivery time of 10 min. And they didn't fulfill our entire order we were missing apps! absolutely disgusted and disappointed ST Cloud Apple Bees...

We were seated and waited 20 minutes for the server to even bring us water and then waited another 20 minutes for him to come take our order. I had to ask him three times to bring some limes for my water and another 20 minutes went by before I actually got the limes. Along with the limes our salads arrived on steaming hot plates which absolutely destroyed the lettuce and turned it slimy. At this point my wife was so upset that she had an anxiety attack and had to walk out because she was crying. I had to ask for the bill as there was no way we were going to eat there anymore. The whole night was a complete disaster because of this absolutely miserable experience caused buy a terrible server and an inexperienced kitchen staff all overseen buy an incompetent manager. We overheard the server telling the table behind us who had also been waiting and extremely long time for their food that he was sorry but the kitchen was backed up with 10 pages of orders. I find this hard to believe as the restaurant was not full and the parking lot was only halfway filled. the other tables around us also had complaints about their meals and apparently did not get what they ordered in some cases. I do not often write such scathing reviews however what I witnessed at Applebees tonight was absolutely absurd and is indeed deserving of...
