While Kyle's consistent excellence usually makes that jewelry store bearable, my last visit, sans Kyle, proved to be an exercise in pure irritation, highlighting a significant drop in service quality. Kyle himself is always dependably awesome, and their service is generally top-notch, though their prices are consistently a little too high for my budget, and I'm well aware they're not immune to the mistakes I've seen crop up in reviews. However, with Kyle nowhere in sight last time, I was stuck with some tall, skinny woman—grey hair, distinctive nose, name escapes me—who fancied herself a jewelry designer and was incessantly trying to push her own peculiar designs on me, which I absolutely did not appreciate. It was utterly baffling to be lectured on ring choices for a woman in her thirties by someone who clearly hasn't a clue about contemporary tastes; honestly, Grandma, I doubt you're clued into "what's going on with the kids today." And if that wasn't enough, every time I suspected she was stretching the truth, her eyes would dart away when I tried to make direct contact—a classic tell, and frankly, I just don't trust people who can't look you straight in the eye. So while I suppose she's "earned her bones" and might know more about rings than I ever will, a veritable relic of the trade, the only silver lining I could find was the reassurance that no bride will ever feel threatened by her presence. UPDATE AFTER RESPONSE: The decision to maintain an undisclosed identity is based on practical considerations related to past transactions. Specific items acquired are currently under warranty, requiring the preservation of the original purchase linkage. Additionally, family members have conducted previous transactions with your establishment. The objective is to prevent any potential complications for both myself and my family that could arise from identity disclosure. Employing an alternate identity serves to align with the intent of providing accurate information while mitigating any unintended negative repercussions. The individual I engaged with was not Jim, his daughter, or his son-in-law. Furthermore, despite assertions made in a public response, this person was definitively not the owner of the establishment. The individual involved in the transaction was someone other than...
Read moreI love the fact that JF Kruse is a christian-based locally owned family business. I see them as a company that believes in reaching out to the community to help those in need, work with other companies to build a stronger sense of community year after year, and offering private donations back into the community. I have witnessed this Outreach many many times over. Personally I'm touched with their generosity of helping with a friend as she struggles with terminal cancer. On a more personal note, words can not give you a full description of my experience I had with Lisa A. as she assisted me with what I call my "starting over" ring after my divorce. It's a beautiful ring which I wear proudly. I receive many compliments yet today. Being a very symbolic person, one could say JF Kruse helped me put closure to my divorce as this ring symbolizes a new beginning. I honestly believe no other jeweler could mimic that kind of genuine customer care that Lisa shared. They are very blessed company and therefore have been able to bless many others-- such as the wonderful testimonies posted plus all the countless experiences that go unheard. It is the true way to do business and they have it right; treating the customer, (our community) with respect and dignity whether it's a customer purchasing in store today or a community member they meet outside of the store and possible future customer 15 years from today. They invest in their customers and our community spiritually, emotionally, and monetarily. It's not just another sales transaction to them when you purchase, it's a start to a relationship which of course, you'll share with friends and family. Others will want that same retreatment and follow you to JF Kruse. So come on other businesses get a clue learn from JF Kruse. (sorry this is so long it's...
Read moreThis spring I did the thing I NEVER thought I would do, and I lost my absolutely beloved wedding ring. It vanished and I proceeded to mourn it like a person in my family had passed away… When I finally got to the point of acceptance, I reached out to the store where we originally got my ring and they were less than helpful. A few friends had used JF Kruse for their rings so I gave them a call and asked about custom rings. From the first phone call they were beyond helpful and made this process of redesigning and recreating my ring so simple. Amanda helped us through every step, was patient while I explored my options of something totally new vs. creating something just like what I had before. And while nothing can ever replace that original ring, this beautiful piece they created for me sure helps! It looks very similar to my original minus a few modifications we intentionally made including my daughter’s birthstone and a larger cushion shaped center diamond. This thing was so sparkly when I picked it up I felt like I had to get it dirty right away because it was “too pretty” haha. I am so happy we went with JF Kruse and will certainly recommend them to...
