Was very excited to try the revamped Legend’s. Unfortunately, the experience was not great. We visited during happy hour on Friday, September 22nd. We were seated and told by a waiter that he had a party of 20 coming in and “probably shouldn’t take our table” but would because the other server was late. Within a few minutes, a waitress came by and asked what we wanted to drink. I asked what the rail vodka was and the waitress stated “I’m not sure, I think it’s Bacardi.” Understanding that she clearly didn’t know, I just told her rail would be fine. Another in our party asked about the Bloody Mary and the waitress stated some people didn’t like it due to it having sweet and sour in it. Not sure what she meant. Another person in our group asked for a vodka Red Bull and asked if there would be any up charge for Red Bull during happy hour. The waitress stated it would be “like a dollar more.” She had 2 vodka Red Bulls and when the bill came, it was $3 more per drink. Before we ordered food, the waitress stated they were out of wings (which was advertised on the happy hour menu) and the turkey club sandwich. Two of us ordered the boom boom shrimp flatbread. Mine came out first (pictured), we were told the other would be out in 5 minutes. 10+ minutes later it came out and had cabbage and green onions on it (as it was advertised on the menu.) The waitress apologized and said she could bring a side of cabbage and onions. I declined. Another in the group ordered the smokey chicken flatbread, it came out missing the chicken. Very unfortunate because the menu has a lot of great looking items and the atmosphere and space is awesome. Hope they can work on training their employees and improve!

Worst dining experience of my life. There were ten if us 5 adults and 5 kids. Took 25 to get waters and it ordered placed should have walked it at that point, but we were staying at the hotel so decided to stay. An hour later started getting food.20 minutes after we started receiving food by 3 year old got his meal and it ended up not even being what we ordered for him and then the waiter decided to argue with us. That's what he wrote down as what we were told. At this point my baked potato wouldn't even melt butter, needed to send that back. There were only 3 other tables eating. It was not busy. Finally after 3-4 times along got management the bar tender came over to help with the mess. She was great. She did her best to take care of us. There were 3 separate checks her messed those up as well. Then I find it it was close to his last day, so he didn't care at all. I might stay at the hotel again but won't be eating at the bar again.

This was our first time visiting, and we entered the building to some great live music. You had to yell to have a conversation, but dining outside was an option. Service wasn't good as our server took our order and never returned as it was shift change. Food was an absolute bust! Walleye fish cake sliders were so excessively fishy that they were tough to try and eat. No salt or seasoning on anything ordered. The manager was tremendous, however, and didn't charge us for uneaten meals. He apologized as there had been others with similar problems. The menu looks very good and we will still return for a different meal. I feel confident the staff is looking to improve and the experience will be better next time.

I regret to confirm that many of the one-star reviews for this restaurant are accurate. I have never had such abominable food in my life. This may be the first time in my life where I have not finished a pasta dish as I am a pasta fanatic and would literally eat any kind of pasta made but here.. I simply could not eat more than 2-3 bites of my meal.

We went to this restaurant yesterday. Due to the construction work occurring at the Holiday Inn Hotel, we were situated in a hotel conference room, which felt a little informal and strange but this was neither here nor there.

My complaints center around the poor services and food. Firstly, the waitress, a slovenly and malignant looking creature was thoroughly unprofessional. She did not know what the soup of the day was, she constantly forgot what we ordered so she came back to our table about a dozen times to ask what sides we wanted and moreover, she took nearly 20 minutes to get our water, 1.5 hours to get our food (which was cold by the time we got it) and carried herself with a complete lack of professionalism throughout our dining experience. Her incompetence may have to do with a lack of training, poor staff hire or a combination of both plus a healthy dose of indifference to the customer by management. I would like to note that there we were the only customers in the restaurant when we were first seated.

Secondly, the food was unbelievably contemptible. I am surprised I did not die after consuming more than 2 scoops of the unknown matter they called pasta. I ordered a Chicken Cavatappi Pasta with a side salad and fries and it was plainly unfit for human consumption. I am delighted that I did not meet my demise due to sodium poisoning because the chicken and the pasta itself were so salty in the extreme that an entire glass of water could not repair the damage the salt-crusted pasta and chicken caused. (It certainly did not help that the despicable waitress did not even bother to refill our waters) Moreover, the pasta was cold and extremely mushy, lending me to believe that the meal was actually ready but the waitress simply did not collect the food and bring it to us. The side salad came with no dressing and the leaves were wilted and gray, it tasted very grassy and had an irony taste to it making me think there was blood on the leaves.

The sirloin I also ordered was particularly terrifying - one side of the sirloin was cooked whereas the other side was downright bloody. Not just juicy but bloody in the manner where liquid blood ran out even without pressure being applied to it. The sorry looking state of the steak was so unappetising that I could not even eat it and placed it on an empty neighbouring table.

After eating at this dreadful establishment, I felt a little dizzy (probably due to excess sodium consumption) and needed to lay down. It did not help that the humidity levels in the hotel were quite high due to the presence of a swimming pool. Upon reflection, I cannot think of a single redeeming quality of this restaurant. While I would like to say that low prices would be appealing, the prices were not and certainly nothing could bring me back to this restaurant even if the food was offered for free. Overall, after eating at and reviewing thousands of establishments, this restaurants merits the qualification of being the worst restaurant I have ever had the misfortune of eating at. Although it is conveniently located, connected to the hotel I was staying at, it is not worth the appalling and abominable experience to eat at...

We came here with our hockey team and families because it was conveniently located in the hotel we were staying at. We had reservations and waited until another large group had left. It took about an hour to get our drinks and another hour to get our food. There were many mistakes which we know can happen due to the size but we felt we weren’t rude or impolite about it. We also never got refills for our pop and had to go to the bar to get them. The waitress rolled her eyes at us when we asked for things or got confused with whose order is whose. She fought with our boys and accused them of taking other boys’ food. Someone was supposed to get waffle fries and when she asked to get some on the side, the waitress rudely placed the plate on the table making the fries slide off the plate without apologizing. It took another hour before we got our bill and we were not given a free kids meal which was stated on the hotel website. The waitress said she had never heard about that and when we showed her the website she said she would take care of the meal with her manager. She took our room number but we weren’t given a refund. To top it off, we were charged a 20% gratuity-which we understand with a big group but it was not deserved due to her service and rudeness. The food was not anything special, my turkey club did not have the aioli it was supposed to have and I wasn’t given ketchup...
