ViVi Bubble Tea (Happy Thyme Market) — Restaurant in St. Cloud

I wish I took a pic of the place & my drink but I forgot lol I ordered the galaxy drink with bubbles. I was so ready to like the place cuz it looked so cute but the employees didn’t greet me or say a word to me… and there was three of them! All guys… but were they silent the whole time? No, actually they were quietly talking amongst themselves but not in English… which always makes me nervous… cuz I was showing a little cleavage… Anyway, very unprofessional staff!! I ordered & gave no tip since the large drink was already $7!!! And it was a tall but thin cup! Then there was a fourth guy who came out from the back who apparently is the only one who was willing to speak English. I taught in St. Paul in very diverse schools; there’s no way you got a job & be in high school without knowing the basic English. The drink was barely colorful. Unlike one of the pics on here. It was mainly blue on top. The place was totally empty! And the drink tasted like a lemonade with lime. I’ll have to have the manager make my drink next time if his coworkers don’t know their job… and they didn’t have name tags either!!! This was on Saturday 5/7/22 at...

• Everyone has a different experience * When we came, the bubble tea shop seemed dark, not clean, and the dine-in area was messy. The shelves for sale products were almost empty, and some items looked like they had been there for a while. The staff/owner should take care more of their store to provide a better experience for the customer. In my opinion, if a store provides good services and products, but the atmosphere/space isn't good, it affects customer satisfaction as well. The atmosphere/space isn't great, but the service and drink are good. When the staff made my order wrong, he kindly gave me the one that he made wrong, rechecked my order, and made a new one right away. Their drink is decent. Im sure this place has phenomenal bubble tea, but unfortunately I wouldn’t know. I called today on 12-24-2020 (Christmas eve) at 2:58 PM to ask if they were open. The employee I talked to said “We are open today until 4:00”. So I left my house in Big Lake at 3:00 and called while on the road at 3:15 to order ahead but nobody answered. Tried again at 3:25 and still no answer. I got there at 3:40 and the door was locked. Tried calling 4 more times until 4:00 PM and left.

Maybe they closed early for the employees, which I have no problem with at all. However I do have a problem with a company that says they are open until 4:00, only to close 45 minutes earlier.

If I do pass through the area again I will give this place another chance and update...
