Crumbl — Restaurant in St. Cloud

Pretty fun place. Just very confused today. The person handing out the cookies looks pretty out of it and is speaking very quiet and monotone to all of us.

And then I hear him say there's a 4 minute wait on a pumpkin cookie to a gal before me and asked if she'd like to wait for it or choose a different cookie. She chose a different cookie. Then he tells me there's the wait on pumpkin as well but for me it's apparently a 12 minute wait? Idk why if it's the same cookie? I asked him about it and he has nothing to say.

Then a customer after me is told there's a wait on the pumpkin and their wait time is back to the original 4 minutes? So I'm totally lost here lol. Maybe there's a certain process I'm unaware of but from the customers perspective that makes no sense, and you should maybe try to get someone more awake and/or present to be handing out the cookies as well where if there's an understandable explanation, they are able to tell...

My girlfriend suggested we check this place out after a couple of her co workers raved about the cookies. Ok, so we walk in and we have to place our order and pay at a kiosk. Then stand in line and wait for your order. Cool. What is not so cool if their prices. Holy crap! $6 for a cookie? 🤯 My girlfriend ended up getting one which I had a $2 bite of and it was eh.. I personally wouldn’t have spent $6 for a dozen of them, let alone just one. Staff was nice, store was new and looked well kept and clean. I don’t imagine this place will be in business very long as it’s a poor location and like I said the prices are insane. I think the hype will wear off. I dunno, if you feel like paying premium for a ok cookie, have at it, but I most likely...

I placed an online order for curbside pickup, waited in the parking lot for twenty minutes then decided to call the store. As I was asking the employee over the phone if I should come inside for pickup, she cut me off and hung up. Went inside and waited for thirty more minutes to be told that they were out of half the cookies from my order (that I had now placed over an hour ago). I waited ten more minutes to have my updated order of two cookies (instead of the original four) completed. There were broken cookies and batter all over the floor, it appeared to be understaffed, and the staff seemed extremely overwhelmed.

The cookies were good but at that point it was not worth going...
