I work at a Bank right across the street from the Saint John Dunkin Donuts. I clocked out at 2: 19 from my work got there at 2:22. The drive thru was wrapped around the building so I went inside since there were no cars. I go inside and I am the only customer there. I was not greeted and at 2:27 a lady walked up to me and put her index finger out and told me to hold on a minute. Then around 2:30 my order was taken. Another customer walked in and ordered a coffee. He was in and out in 4 to 5 mins. By this time it was 2:36 still waiting for my 4 iceed coffees. I hear the girl who took my order say, hey that girl is still waiting. The other employees said, if you take someones order you make their order. I did not get my coffee until 2:40. Then, she only handed me 3 iceed coffees instead of 4. I waited for that. I never got straws and i kept trying to get someones attention, then I finally had to wave my hand and say hey. There are no straws out in the lobby and I will need some for my to go order. The girl who acknowledged me rolled her eyes and I felt like I was a burden to her. I did not get to leave til 2:42. So i was in there for 20.5 minutes. They kept helping the drive thru, but never helped me. I am a very patient person, but that was completely unnecessary. I was still super sweet to the girls, but I have been coming here for 3 years and this was the most awful dunkin donuts experience. The employees should care about the people inside the lobby as well as the drive thru and you should at least greet someone right away considering I come from working in customer service as well. I genuinely hope this problem is addressed with the employees and I would like to hope that I would have a better experience if and when I come back. I appreciate you reading this and this helps...
Read moreFirst and foremost, please greet your customers when they come to the drive-thru window. It is so rude to either be engaged in another conversation or talking to another customer when meeting patrons at the window. I've worked in fast food for many years, and the one thing I always did when meeting customers at the window was greet them and thanked them for being a customer. For this particular transaction, I was met at the window by someone (probably the owner) who could not properly speak English. That in itself is not a major problem as long as you make the customers feel welcomed. He did not greet me, he just said how much money was due. I paid him and he handed me my coffee and walked away. The woman that handed me the remainder of my order was talking to another customer and seemed annoyed when I asked her for some ketchup (which should automatically be included with an order of hash browns). Customer service is key people, your business thrives on people feeling welcomed and appreciated. Learn to listen and be open to suggestion. As I always say, please and thank you goes a long way. One more thing, and this always irritates me, when you put napkins in a bag with donuts or any other food item they get greasy. Do not get upset when a customer asks for extra napkins. Either place napkins away from food items or expect to be asked for extra napkins. Thank you...
Read moreBelieve the bad reviews. There have been so many times I've wanted to give this Dunkin a bad review. And every time, I think... One more chance. Or maybe they just had a bad day. Today though... No more chances. Thank you Dunkin for my hard as concrete croissant on my sweet black pepper bacon sandwich. It's so bad, that it's inedible. My choices were drive back to complain, it just take the insides out and eat them without the rock bread. I chose the latter with as much as I have to do today. Let's not forget to mention my cold undercooked hashbrowns. My granddaughter wanted donuts, and as I named off some of their most common donuts, they continued to tell me they don't have those today, because they are too lazy to make them. . This location simply doesn't care about being substandard and they don't care about their customers. And the employees always seem in a bad mood and I've witnessed arguments on a few occasions from the drive thru window between employees. Forget this one and drive north a mile to the Schererville location. You'll...
