Mama D's Pizza — Restaurant in St. John

Was excited to try Mama D's pizza in St John for the first time in many years with my wife this past Friday. We ordered delivery, one XL pizza (all sausage, 1/2 pepperoni, 1/2 green pepper). After explaining the toppings three times to the gentleman on phone, I paid and they told me 20-30 minute delivery which seemed crazy considering prep, cook, package & delivery time to Dyer. I was right. An hour later our pizza showed up. The delivery guy was friendly & awesome as we chatted about the Cubs for 30-seconds. But then we opened the pizza. The pie was noticeably overcooked. The toppings were a disaster. There was almost NO sausage on the entire pizza and very little pepperoni. There was however a PILE of green pepper on the one half. My wife looked at me & said, "It's like they ran out of sausage & pepperoni and tried to make up for it by giving tons of extra green pepper." Can't say I disagreed with her theory. Usually amazing service... key word Usually we ordered a pizza tonight and were given a time of 50-55 minutes. We arrived to pick up 55 minutes later we were then told it would be another 15-20 minutes and were asked to pay. We paid and waited an additional 30 minutes before asking the status of our pizza. Then we were told it would be another 7 minutes waited the 7 minutes then told it would be another 5 minutes. Over an hour and a half later and still no pizza. I asked for a refund and left with no pizza. We understand it gets buzzy and things happen but orders should be made in the order they come in. We were not the only person this happened to tonight . Ordered 2 beef sandwiches, breaded sampler and a 2 litre. Cost me $31 delivered. Asked for garlic on my beef didn't taste it at all. Mozzarella sticks were hard and undercooked, marinara was cold, like "straight from the fridge" cold.
