Welch's Stop & Shop — Restaurant in St. John

A neighbor suggested we try them for some salads we were to bring for an outing. Were told they were much better than the grocery store delis. Well, they were right. Bought 3 different ones and they were all phenomenal. Broccoli salad, pasta salad and don't recall the third one. The Broccoli salad is to die for. A little bit pricey, but you pay for quality. Great meat, however customer service is at a ALL TIME low. i have been going there for over 15 years. Spending couple hundred a month. We had to get little more meat for additional person coming to dinner on Thanksgiving. They up charged me 25% for cut the meat. THEY HAVE NEVER DONE THAT BEFORE EVER! Time to find another butcher. When i asked for 1 lb of Swiss Cheese they cut 1.21 lbs. He had an attitude when i would not take it. I said one pound only. Like i said their customer...

Always awesome!!! Love, love, love this small meat market. It has home cooked meals you can just thaw and eat!! There are many choices. The meats are always fantastic. Great deli with lots of choices! You can drop in after work and pick up all items necessary for a meal. It offers a great selection of different grocery needs without having to go in a large, crowded grocery store. The homemade soups are delectable!
