Our family popped in to grab a quick snack before dinner. We got the queso funding. It was a ton of cheese freshly baked/broiled with tomatoes, onion, corn, and cilantro inside served with a bag of chips. It was a great snack on a busy day. The atmosphere, while not superb for family dining, would be fantastic for a night out with friends. There was bench seating all around the outside patio and the area was open enough for a little dancing. I would love to go back and try the chicken mole pizza.

We stopped here while passing through and loved it! Fresh and interesting food. I had the mole chicken pizza and loved it. The mole was peanut free with was great for me too. My partner had the fajitas. Fun ambience and decor and great service!

What a unique menu and hospitable staff! Love their origin story of “soul” and “sole”, and the food, service, and atmosphere were stellar! Would certainly recommend to anyone venturing through The Grove of St. Louis!

I am so grateful to find authentic Mexican but with a twist! I love their marisco (crab + shrimp) fundido. They heat the fundido in a wood-fired oven and serve it in cast iron. Delish.

Also love the birria fajitas and carne asada fajitas. The pizzas look amazing.

The ambience is both enlivening and comforting. Tons of natural light, bright flowers, a hearth | fireplace, and great music. This can be a fast casual spot... Pick it up at lunch or for takeout.

They also have delicious authentic drinks like hibiscus tea brewed with canela (cinnamon sticks), amazing horchata, and plenty of bottled options like coca cola and various flavors of Jarritos. And their horchata bites are to die for.

Their other location off Delmar has quesadillas, tacos, and burritos. This one is pizzas, fundido (melted cheese), and fajitas for now. So yummy. Highly...

Ordered Seafood Pizza, El Pastor Pizza and Birria Pizza. It’s more of a flatbread than a pizza, which wasn’t depicted in the website photo.

Flavor of the birria pizza was good, but pizza was very dry. Crust was not so good.

Seafood Pizza wasn’t something that I was expecting. Didn’t feel the Marisco. The sauce wasn’t enough to cover or compliment the fishiness of the ingredients.

Didn’t taste much outside of pineapples on the el pastor pizza.

Will try the fajita next time - hopefully the food and service improves as they are growing into the new restaurant. Tough neighborhood to compete against for pizza at this price point due to Urban Chestnut and Pie Guys nearby.

Would be a much better competition to La Calle as they are the only Mexican restaurant...

I love a fusion pizza, we got the sole birria and the bbq chicken mole. The bbq sauce was tangy and delicious, but I did not necessarily expect that flavor from the bbq mole name. My main desire would be for a bigger pizza so it would be more cost-effective. I don’t see us going to a $14 pizza each very often.

The outdoor seating is pretty nice, we came late so it was dark. It also smelled like trash juice which was unpleasant, but I assume it’s not like that most of the time… Would love to go back and try the patio...
