Amazing Tamales! 😋 Authentic Mexican Bakery 5 Stars! 😋 If you are looking for authentic Mexican baked goods, this place does it just like they do in Mexico! You have to try their Flan, Tres Leches (3 milks cake) and I know this may sound out of place… but they make delicious tamales! Some of the best tamales in town! (They sell out fast! Shhh it’s a hidden secret they have the best in town. They should really consider expanding this part of their business)

I ordered an entire Flan for my birthday and everyone could not stop talking about how amazing it was 😋😋😋

This is high quality people! I read on here people complaining about the prices. If you ordered a cake from any other bakery in town that’s high quality it would run $50-$100. Why would people expect these amazing cakes & Flan to be cheap??? SMH

ONE THING… just like trying any food from other cultures, go into it with an open mind. Some of the pastries or donuts from Mexico are not as sweet as American pastries/donuts. They are colorful, but not as sweet. (Think scones) This sometimes throws people off. However, there are plenty that are just as sweet or more. You have to try different ones to see which ones you like.

They also take prepaid orders ahead of time...

I decided to stop by dianas after having lunch down the street at la vallesana. When I walked into the bakery i was the only one in there. Right behind me was a big group of high school kids in a Spanish class field trip. There teacher walked in behind me and asked for Diana the owner. The teacher asked if Diana can talk to her students about her bakery shop. Diana agreed to talk to them and that all of her students can come inside the small bakery. The students quickly piled up inside shoulder to shoulder filling the bakery front to end. I wasn’t heard when I asked if I can have one minute to shop and look around before everyone comes in. I managed to pick out two goodies. I was disappointed I couldnt look around and shop for more items because it was so packed.

On the bright side, I bought a chocolate concha and cochinito both were very delicious.

So overall bakery items are delicious but staff weren’t considerate of my experience and my shopping so for that they get 2 and...

They have a very big selection, and most of what we tried was great. Most of the labels are in Spanish, but I know enough to be able to read some of them. And honestly, we chose what looked good, lol. My son loved the amount of different cookie choices. I leaned towards the bread. There was a bread that looked like it was chocolate that my son picked out. Not sure what it was, but it had a fruity flavor that my husband and son really enjoyed! The piece of chocolate cake that I picked was delicious! They have hand sanitizer, plastic gloves, and plastic bags at the front and you reach in and serve yourself for most of it. I do wish they had some boxes as some items didn't do as well in bags (donuts with chocolate icing, bread with a center of cream cheese style cream in the center, etc.). We stopped in for a snack and ending up buying a lot of items because they all looked so good! We're set with sweets for a...

Diana’s Bakery is located on historic Cherokee Street and was a recent and delightful discovery for someone like me with a penchant for authentic Mexican pastries. As you step into this unassuming bake shop, you’re immediately hit with the sugary goodness smell. The bakery has an impressive array of over 100 traditional Mexican treats. Choosing just a few items will be impossible. The conchas, with their sweet, crunchy topping, are a must-try. The churros, golden and crisp, are a testament to the bakery’s dedication to traditional recipes. Check out my haul. You grab a glove and a tray and off you are on your journey to picking the treats that suit your fancy. The friendly staff are eager to guide you through their offerings and share the stories behind each treat. I love making discoveries like this.

It was such a pleasant surprise when you walked in its wall to wall desserts. They have gloves and bags to begin your shopping. Prices are so reasonable and the men working in there were a big help too. If you're not sure of what certain bakery items are, they were more than happy to assist us. I asked for a box to put the Bavarian jelly roll, little pies, cheesecake cookies in as a bag just wouldn't do. They were so polite and got me a bakery box. Little brother grabbed some fruit empanadas, chocolate chip big cookie with much small chips, Taco Bavarian cream, they look like a cream horn but there not, just so much to choose from. Prices really make it affordable for anyone to shop there, instead of a grocery store for sure. Support your local businesses.
