Food is excellent. Could be cleaner, but they do so much service, it's probably difficult to keep up. None of the tables had trash or anything like that, just everything could be better kept. I have to say the food is so good. The toppings are always fresh and they give me so much. We always make two tacos out of one, just like in México. Ricos tacos !

Walk up and place your order, grab a drink from one of the barrels near the register, and sit down on the tiny patio. Or ask nicely and get into the old restaurant area inside; it's about half storage area, but that's okay with me. I had the carnitas and the lengua tacos, and both were wonderful. Just don't expect waiters in tuxes or tablecloths, or a hipsterized faux patina....
Read moreThis used to be my favorite place on Cherokee! But our last two visits haven't been good. It seems like they only have one server despite being pretty busy on a weekend, and we had to wait forever both for our food and for the check when we wanted to leave.
Additionally, this past time, my husband and I both got sick despite eating different things, other than chips and salsa and water.
