Authentic Iranian Kebab Restaurant Recommendation in STL

Authentic Iranian Kebab Restaurant Recommendation in STL

The food was absolutely outstanding! However, the experience was very awkward. We went there Monday at 6pm and we were the only people in the restaurant. It was dead silent. They did turn on music after about 5 minutes. There didn't appear to be any servers. I would just stand up and kind of walk towards the bar and holler for plates or bowls, etc. Everyone there was extremely nice but again, it didn't appear that anyone with server experience was present that day. Regardless, the food and the way it is presented are outstanding! The ladies carrying out the trays of food are very skilled and do an amazing job of putting on a show. The lamb kabob is without a doubt the best I've ever eaten. Perfectly charred and grilled yet amazingly moist and flavorful. The chicken was also ridiculously delicious and I'm not the biggest chicken fan. Also, the portions are enormous! We shared the kabob platter for 3 and honestly it could have fed 5 or more. If you want the best kabobs in Saint Louis, this is the place. We will definitely be back!

We were visiting St Louis during Labor Day weekend. We enjoy Persian cuisine, so thought of giving them a try when we found them through Google maps. We ordered koobideh kabob with naan and vaziri(barg and joojeh kabob with rice). We loved their koobideh and joojeh kabob. It had the authentic taste, seasoned and grilled perfectly and juicy. But the bargh kabob was bland, the rice was thick and chewy with an old smell with little to no saffron flavor. We could only have the kabobs with the naan, but the naan was pretty small too. The portions are small and did not fill two adults. For dessert we had their saffron pistachio ice cream. It was phenomenal, creamy, packed with pistachio, saffron infused and perfectly sweet. May be we'll only go back for their ice cream! For all of this we paid $70, which we thought was way too much for two entrees and a single serving of ice cream. We could order for 3 adults in a Persian cuisine in Chicago for that price.

From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for something special. This restaurant strikes the perfect balance between warm hospitality and refined dining. The atmosphere is cozy yet modern, with just the right lighting to make you feel relaxed and welcome.

Now, the food—absolutely outstanding. Every dish was crafted with care and packed with flavor. I ordered the [insert signature dish, e.g., "braised short ribs with truffle mashed potatoes"], and it was melt-in-your-mouth tender, rich, and perfectly seasoned. The portions were generous without being overwhelming, and the presentation was beautiful.

Our server was knowledgeable and attentive, offering great wine pairings and checking in just often enough without hovering. You can tell the staff here takes pride in what they do.

Dessert was the perfect finale. I highly recommend the [insert dessert, e.g., "warm chocolate lava cake with raspberry coulis"]—pure indulgence.

This place is an absolute must-visit. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner, a family celebration, or just a treat-yourself night out, you won’t be...

Very rude waiter and owner!!! Terrible service!!! No one came at our table for the first 10 minutes. Brought no water, ask if we are ready to order right away. We ordered the food and four of us got coke and two of us said just water. They brought the sodas and two bottles of water, still no water for everyone! I asked please bring water for everyone, he said only two people said water someway like arguing with me. Then eventually brought water for everyone. After bringing the food, no one came to check us and forgot to bring one of our orders. The bonus was at the end. We kept asking for our checks. Finally his son brought the check, all together. I asked to split it. He went and his dad came, he started arguing again and blaming us why did not tell us when you ordered, now it is difficult and I told you I am busy!!!! Once I saw he is this much rude, I said I pay all and then we split ourselves.

He charged us for two bottles of water. He was serving us in lazy pants and slippers.

Kabob koubideh is good, other kabobs are OK. Stews are terrible.

Rude and...
