St. Alphonsus Liguori "Rock" Catholic Church — Attraction in St. Louis

My spiritual home. Its not like your typical or traditional catholic experience. Covid has hurt the atmosphere since we are a hugging church that loves to fellowship in the spirit. But to give you an idea of what its like, take the traditional catholic mass parts and add to it gospel music by Kurt carr or the Hawkins family. Now you have to add in a heavy dosenof african heritage and dressings like furniture or decorations and finish with a predominantly african American congregation and history. Though I have lived close to Alphonsus Rock Church most of my life, I never visited it (even after the last renovation and roof replacement.) I only got to see the sanctuary and it is very beautiful.
