Friendly's Sports Bar & Grill — Restaurant in St. Louis

After a great party we had for my sisters birthday we went to our normal spot friendlys been going here for years. we were all dressed up so I'm not sure what changed in their policy. we approached the bar and out of no where a man comes up and asks for our ids. okay cool no problem you have that right, as his checking is someone asked the guy why were we being carded in the first place being we have never been carded before and we come here a lot. it took a second person to come up and his explanation was because of a previous incident. yet no one was carded as they entered. We order drinks at the bar and it comes up to $70 and we questioned the price. it's never been that high. as we declined services being we felt we were treated unfairly. The bartender stated we had to pay for the liquor that was already poured, excuse me! No we will not. She yelled "good don't come back" oh we will and I will keep reporting your behavior to customers. It shows whoever works there now doesn't want black locals in this place. please think again before coming here. this was on 27th at around maybe 11pm. I rave about this place to a lot of people this will not be on my list of places to...

The community and people are great. The service isn't bad and friendly. What is really wrong about this place is the pricing. The fact that we were in the other night and on their menu it only shows 5/6 beers as craft. Then they have plenty of mass produced beers on draft. For example, one person in our party ordered three Stella Artois and when the bill came we were charged $6 per beer. That is a joke. I grew up in St. Louis and am visiting from Colorado. Decent micro-brew craft beer averages $5/pint on any given night including weekends. This place can suck it. When I confronted the bartender about the menu being misleading; she continues to tell me that everything on draft up at the bar is craft beer; I find this nauseating. Sorry but Stella Artois is a mass produced junk beer. Try again. So, if you are looking for a place to knock back bud light or coors then it's a great little bar. I love Friendlys and the only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because I once went in and ordered a pizza (which I don't recommend as the rest of their menu is better and the pizzas are the frozen kind they just throw in the oven and make you pay $8 for) and, because they're annoyingly cash only, I offered to pay for the pizza before they brought it out just so I could get it out of the way. I was there on a busy night where we couldn't get table service so I had to go up to the bar to order and I wanted to pay then so I didn't have to wait forever for change to be brought back. So I waited for almost 20 minutes then finally said something to the server because my friend got her pizza despite having ordered st least 5 minutes after me. They had totally forgotten my order. So I had to wait even longer for them to put the pizza in and when they brought it to me no apology was made and they didn't even offer me any kind of compensation for waiting 40 minutes to eat a frozen...
