The espresso was not very good at all the day I visited. It had an oily surface and a watery, almost citrus taste. (I'd ordered an Americano--just espresso and water.) The barista asked, "Is it okay if I make that to go?" I was like, "...No? I thought I'd wait out the rain here." So I didn't feel particularly welcome. The vibe is relaxed, the staff is friendly, and you can tell they care about being a part of the local scene. If you’re into great coffee and a very welcoming space to hang or get some work done, this...
