Came in and the bartender was finishing playlist of A Tribe Called Quest, after that it was a veried and discerning who's-who of old 'new school' hip-hop jams. So, yeah. 👏🏽 Good pours from the knowledgeable and gracious Sunday night bartender... Chill atmosphere, good vibes from the regulars... One hundred will go again. *Hello from Minneapolis 👋🏾

Lots of great, local options if you like to venture out, but also the standards of you just want to stick with what's comfortable. No food, but near lots of options, so this is great for before or after. Plenty of seating options and an enjoyable atmosphere, I love the art accented by UV!

This place has such a chill and dope vibe, no matter if you go in the evening or late night.. the drinks are so good.. my favorite is the Blood & Sand, though I've had a few others over the years. Would highly recommend here for after dinner drinks!

We showed up here mostly due to the fact that they allow dogs on their patio, which is great! We met a few other furry friends, and staff were great with the pups, and also had a water bowl there for them.

The drinks were all good (a Topo aperol spritz of sorts, a shandy with a shot, a Blood and Sand, a Margarita, and a raspberry(?) g&t) though some were a bit short on the alcohol it seemed, though that may be due to the fact that all of them were served in plastic cups way too big for the drinks.

Overall, I'll definitely be back, it's very chill, near where I live which is a bonus, and the variety of drinks was really great for a place with a...

4 stars because there's always room for improvement. Honestly, I never been to a bar except this location recently. It was total of 6 ppl Maxed . They were all so friendly to me , even though I was different race. I went there looking for somebody/anybody. 6$ special thing they do. A shot of whiskey an a beer go along with it. 2 rounds for me an I was feeling lovely. I want to say basically it's a good bar to attend for shore.! Sexy bartender working that night also. Place was cleaned , an I believe they have 3 bathrooms in there too. The one I went into was clean clean. So shout out to whiskey ring I really appreciate...

The Whiskey Ring has entered my personal pantheon of Greatest Bars of All Time. Just imagine every minute detail you could want of a whiskey bar, a neighborhood pub, and a fun evening and then set all those hopes and wishes onto a corner pub in Benton Park. The atmosphere is chill, the bartender is expert, the patrons are social, and the drinks are strong. I was feeling great after just 2 of the custom cocktails, so I didn't get to try any of the craft beer, of which there was a robust offering. I recommend you block off an evening, park yourself...
