Imo's and I go way back! Since I was a 9yr old child. The food has changed along with management at this particular Imo's location. I do recognize some of the same employees, though. The original owner of many years sold his franchise back in 2016. He made the best homemade Roast Beef au jus with a crispy crunchy bread and the right amount of pepper cheese and/or provel with garlic and spices. This sandwich is no longer available. I'm so upset! Although the pizzas are fresh, served hot with the original spice toppings reminiscent of the first Imo's pizza with oregano, fennel and provel cheese and fresh sausage and mushrooms, the pizzas are smaller now and you have to request parmesan to add a little more zing for flavor. Napkins are not provided as well. You simply have to ask and your wishes will be granted! The delivery time or pickup is nominal. The new owners/staff are very friendly, polite and they work hard. The prices increased along with serving smaller portions nowadays. The bread being used now is spongy without any flavor at all. A real disappointment from the crisp bread I was used to. Overall, even though the menu items have changed with different flavors then what I was used to e.g. pastas, the Roast Beef and Meatball sandwiches; the pizzas are excellent now. They've gone back to "old-school!" That's refreshing. After all, "It's the square beyond compare." Oh, they do practice Covid-19 2020 guidelines. Masks and social-distancing are being taken into consideration for all customers and themselves to ensure that everyone can guarantee a safe dining out, take-out or delivery service experience. Imo's Pizza Morganford is my go to for a taste of one of the best pizzas in St....
Read moreOur large family orders Imo's about once a week at one of their locations (Morgan Ford, Ballwin, South County most often) for about the past 3 months. I have never gotten such horrible food. I literally ordered Imo's yesterday and am extremely disappointed in the solutions offered when we called to ask what they could do.
We had an extremely dissappointing experience at Imo's Morganford today. We ordered pizza and 24 wings, the pizza was cold and the wings were disgusting. The wings were over cooked or maybe recooked and there was very little sauce. The quality is not in line with what we’ve come to expect from Imo’s.
They did not offer to replace wings just bring sauce, which would take 45-1hr. So we are supposed to pour sauce on 2 hour old wings and call it ok? That just doesn't make sense as a solution. The pizza we could trade but would have to wait another hour, it was fine microwave. Worse than the lackluster food was the absence of willingness to solve the issue. Saddened by the way we were treated after paying $60 and being such...
