This is truly a one of a kind place. A night club that doesn’t serve anything. Doesn’t serve food. Doesn’t serve alcohol(or any drinks). You bring your own. And you listen to great music. What a concept. It’s a cute little place but you have to walk in the garden. It’s a real collection of “stuff” from ages past. Can’t describe it - just go see. There is usually a guy there selling food as you wait on line to get in. You gotta try the place - at least once.

Finally made it here! Joe’s Cafe has been on my STL Bucket List forever! A quirky place, with great music in the Skinker-DeBalievere neighborhood near Forest Park and Washington University. You need to get there early to grab your seats…bring your own food and drink…your friends…then sit back and relax and listen to the music!

What an interesting venue!

As far as I can tell, it’s neither a cafe nor an art gallery, though there’s plenty to see! I came here for a concert, and I LOVED the fact they encouraged you to bring your own food and drinks. Because they offer neither…

Seating is first come first serve, including an upstairs area with limited tables if you did bring said food and drinks.

The outside garden area was pretty fun to explore and look at, though I’d love to have seen it in the light.

Very...

I've never seen a place like this before! I felt like I was transporting to a magical place of great music and amazing vibes. Make sure to buy a ticket on eventbrite and bring your own food and alcohol! This place is all about the music and the artists. I would recommend coming early to grab a good table and get ready for a one of a kind experience. The place is small and intimate, but you are completely immersed in the music - can't wait...
