At a little more than $22 for a 6-piece chicken wing meal to-go (with waffle fries and a drink), I was unfortunately pretty unimpressed. I ordered at the kiosk and my meal came out within a couple minutes after I ordered, leading me to assume they must have already had precooked chicken done (fresh chicken usually takes a while at any place). The waffle fries were GOOD, well seasoned and crispy on the outside. The chicken was definitely not as expected in terms of quality and flavor. I don't think what I had would be considered "Korean fried" as the chicken did not mirror how it was described on the menu or in photos (it was barely crispy, had very little sauce, was dark, and had no sesame seeds nor any green onions on top, so the presentation was also a miss, for sure). I prefer to encourage people to try things themselves as I also don't take all reviews at face value (unless a place has a really low star rating).. But for me, this place wasn't anything that would have me going back like I do at just about every restaurant I end up liking. On the up side, the place was...
Read moreWent here for the first time and loved it! The chicken was tender and good quality and the breading was yummy, crispy but not too heavy. I got the garlic soy and honey sauces and they were both very good! The garlic soy was more soy than garlic but still delicious. The pickled radish was a yummy contrast to the rest of the meal, and the fries were also really good! The man who took our order was very friendly, checked in about how our meal was, and also gave us two free brownies which was very kind. The restaurant itself was simple but fun and had outlets across the tables so I bet it would also be a good place to study. Finally, the takeout boxes were nice quality, which seems small but hey, I appreciated it! Recommend if you’re looking for some yummy chicken that’s different from your traditional...
Read moreUpdate 8/5: I now have food poisoning from eating here. My family and I got a lot of food today 8/4, were very excited by the menu and reviews. We ordered for pickup, it was to be ready at 5:30pm and we showed up at 5:35 pm The cashier was friendly. We got some of the chicken tenders, which tasted old and dry with barely any sauce. The chicken tacos were okay, decent flavor. The tteokbokki was extremely disappointing. Had absolutely zero sauce and also felt old and chewy. The beef tacos were good, a little soggy. The chicken sandwich was at the bottom of the bag, smushed flat as it wasnt in a container. Also dry and stale. Overall we’re very sad we spent so much to get overcooked or old food. Just disappointing, and I’m not sure if it’s who was cooking, as others didn’t seem to have the...
