African Americans do not go to this establishment....... I stopped by this restaurant for lunch today 12-5-18. I called in my order, which was the following ordered the Signature Ramen with no corn, no mushrooms, add beansprouts, extra egg and an extra side of noodles and Gyoza. I called back approximately 4mins after I placed the initial order to add the noodles. When adding the noodles I asked the young lady was it ok to add them at that time, she informed me yes it was fine. I then proceeded to the location to pickup my order. Upon arrival I informed the young lady of my name and that I was picking up a to-go order. The young lady tell me my total is $29, (I ordered two items), I then asked the cashier can I see an ITEMIZED PRINTOUT of my order. She said "What is that"??????? I informed her that it is a receipt with the pricing of each item next to it, this way I can see what I am paying for. She then walks away and get a short dark haired lady who takes my card from the young lady swipes it so fast then gives me the itemized printout. I tell her I wanted to see my receipt first before I pay, the cashier says yes the lady wanted to see the bill first. The dark haired lady then says to me, "Well did you need to split the payment up, or do a partial payment, well how did you want to pay?" (and she is loud) I looked at her and said money is not the problem, I want to see what my dollars are paying for. She then tries to reprimand me about calling back adding a side of noodles later. She never apologized and kept insinuating that I had a problem with paying. How dare you, I will NEVER be back. If you are an African American and you run into this lady be ready because she will treat you as if you do not have any money and cannot pay for your food. I have my own company and I work for the Government, I should not have to give my credentials to get good food in Clayton.

Read moreThere was nothing inviting about the outside of the building we actually passed by the place twice then had to Google it to find the exact location. When we went in I ask the man at the register if I can be seated and if a waiter would come to the table to take our order. He gave me a menue and told me to take any seat and when I decided what we wanted to come back up and order. I place our order and he immediately asked if I would like to give a tipp, keep in mind they didn't seat us nor come to take our order and we had not even gotten our food to taste or eat yet but he's asking for a Tipp. The food finally came and we hoped that this would make up for all the other shortcomings. Once again we where let down, the food presentation was terrible and the food itself was very bland no flavor at all. I have made ramen at home that would shut this place down. Apon leaving the guy at the register asked how was it, I told him it taste like you all washed animals up and used the water for broth. I even asked other customers how did they like it and they said it was bland and plain. I would not recommend anyone that really enjoys a good gourmet Ramen because this place will only piss you off and the price was outrageous for two people to eat animal broth $50.00,again I highly recommend that you take your business elsewhere or save your money and fix your own meal at home. I forgot to say that the eggs were a black color and they were playing Christmas music way ahead of schedule, PISSED...
Read moreMy younger son loves Ramen so we came here with high expectations. After ordering 2 soups, a rice dish, and 2 Japanese sodas I about hit the floor with the $55 bill! I mean, seriously?? I've spend more money at really nice restaurants so I'm no stranger to paying for high quality and service, but this is an order at the counter ramen joint and I had no alcoholic beverages...talk about being pretentious!
The bowls are large and come out steaming but yet they are lukewarm at best, that left me scratching my head. My beef brisket was tough and fatty, I saved it for my dog. The broth wasn't bad but I liked my son's tempura shrimp soup way better and he polished it off. The eggs they use on the soups are not soft boiled and oozy like they should be, and if they are soft boiled they must freeze them cause the center is hard! I mean, come on, the least you can do is give me a good egg. The tempura shrimp rice dish was great, I have no complaints about that.
A poster on here says she’s eaten real ramen in Japan and Hawaii and this place rivals those. Seriously, did she eat at the worst ramen joints in those places? We've been to Chinatowns around the world and have eaten some excellent ramen for a fraction of the price, so it's not a place we...
