The buffalo chicken salad was everything! Joe must have made it with love! I'll be back for that salad. The customer service was great as well.
Update: I went today to get a buffalo chicken salad. When I order my salad, the guy behind the counter asked if it was takeout. I said yes. Then he asked me takeout or dine in I said takeout. He couldn't hear me I guess because he asked me again and I said takeout. He told me I didn't have to have an attitude. I told him I didn't have an attitude. We was cool but he seemed like he couldn't hear me so I said it again.
I asked him if they had lemonade he said yes. I told him I wanted one. I also asked him if they could add a boiled egg to my salad. He said poached and I said no a boiled egg. He said poached is boiled. I told him a boiled egg is a boiled egg. Poached is not boiled. He accused me of having an attitude again and I told him I did not have an attitude. I was just being direct and answering what he's asking . Responding to what he's saying . I told him not to try to push that angry narrative on me when I'm only trying to order a salad with a boiled egg. He said okay and added an egg to the screen. When I received my order I received a poached egg. I gave it back and said that I ordered a boiled egg. The lady behind the counter said she was going to go get someone. I told her I did not want to talk to the same guy that rung me up. She said it was someone different. The chef came up to let me know that they only made poached eggs and not boiled. And I told him that the person taking my order should have said that he never said that. All he kept saying was poached and trying to convince me that a poached egg and a boiled egg was the same thing. the chef said he would make a boiled egg for me I thanked him and sat down. The guy that took my order came back and tried to look in my receipt. I started moving my bag so he didn't touch my food and then he proceeded to tell me I was being aggressive and that he told me that there was only poached eggs and he didn't understand why I was making a big deal. And I stood on what I said before. He never told me that they don't make boiled eggs. He just tried to convince me that a boiled egg and a poached egg was the same thing. I told him that I didn't want to speak to him at all that I had already handled things with the chef and I asked him to stop talking to me. He kept talking to me and then it became louder. And I told him he was not going to keep trying to push and angry or aggressive narrative on me when all I asked for was an egg in my salad. The chef told him to stop talking to me and said he would be bringing my egg up soon. I was there from 9:03 when I placed my order until 9:45 for a salad. At that point I left and I never received my boiled egg. That I was charged $3 for. I will not be back. My first two experiences were positive. This has...
Read moreFirst off I would like to say when you're serving plain ordinary every day breakfast food the way to stand out to customers is by having outstanding customer service. However the employees don't even have basic customer service. This is my first time being a customer at KingSide Express and definitely my LAST. Coming in I admitted multiple times I didn't know the menu and that it's my first time here. That was your opportunity to make suggestions on what I'm looking to eat (Upsale be friendly). I had my daughter with me she's 2 I order the kids breakfast and got 2 pancakes and a sausage. That's you chance to tell the actual size of your pancakes. For example: "I know you mentioned this is your first time here just to let you know are food portions when it comes to pancakes are quite large some toddlers don't finish just one" (I constantly mentioned it was my first time here) I then ask for the banana and chocolate chip oats. Do you know this man had the nerve to tell me it's just hot or cold fruit like no oats what so ever just literal fruit and chocolate. I then asked "so no oatmeal at all?" Because I'm looking at the menu say oats but hey what do it know. Overnight oats or oat meal what ever you want to call but to look me dead in my face and say that. Means there's someone working who didn't KNOW THERE OWN MENU and instead being like whole up let me check you just lied. After paying twenty something on absolutely nothing I wanted I go sit down. I then go online and see that you indeed have "oatmeal". I started feeling really uncomfortable sitting there and a bit agitated after looking up the menu online so I ask for our order to be to go. He goes to the back brings out these large pancakes on a plate after seeing the look on my face he offers to grab you some Togo containers. Our order wasn't even completed because he had to go back and grab my daughter sausage and a cup a syrup. A single cup. You would think having two separate orders of pancakes would have their own cup of syrup. I wasted my time and money on some food my daughter didn't even like I still have a whole pancake and a half of one left. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE never...
