Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken — Restaurant in St. Louis

Always Great Service when I'm there!!!! Food always taste great!!!! And the restaurant is always clean... The reason I'm giving this location a 3 stars is, because I've been there to many times to get whole chicken wings and the chicken wings that I get are way to "SMALL"!!!! Today I order a 5 piece wings snack box, comes with a biscuit... I paid $7.37 for pigeon wings size!!!! Edit: An update on my next visit... The wings were a little bigger.. I order a 5 piece chicken wing dinner and got 6 pieces.. 👍 On the same day.. I took my freshly washed n empty 30oz tumbler to Lee's Chicken with me. When I placed my food n drink order I asked the lady at the register to "go ahead and put my ice tea in my tumbler".. She stated to me that "she couldn't actually take my tumbler to fill it because it's a health code violation"... I said, "I understand"... Then she handed me my 32 oz paper cup filled with tea.. When I received my drink from her I said, "so when I'm needing a refill on my drink you'll be giving me another new cup"??? She said, "no, you'll use the first cup I gave you on your refills".... 🤔

Then 10 minutes later I went back up to the food counter with my first empty cup and asked for another refill.. The same girl took it from me and refilled the cup with ice OVER her ice bin... That's is one of my biggest PET PEEVE, a sever or a bartender refilling your same glass with ice over their open ice bin... 😡

I did change from 3 stars to 4 stars because the restaurant was very clean and the staff are very friendly and quick.. Also watched the 2 girls working the front counter keeping busy with wash rags wiping their work area down... And was satisfied with the size...

Hello, I've been a longtime customer at this particular Lee's in So. Stl, and it "use to be a decent & fair, and most of the time when inside, the service was decent, as well. Even though it's fast food, (chicken) it was usually hot and mostly " fresh. Meaning, it was cooked within 2 hours or sometimes, within 30 mins. But to charge a paying customer...$10 and give them chicken that was either cooked earlier for"lunchtime or possibly reheated from the previous day. Not sure which, but SHAME on you for that, and I'm done with this establishment. I will no longer spend my HARD earn money with this place. Very disappointing as usual. That's my fault from Not following my 1st choice, Chic fil A.... where your order is prepared per order and is delivered pleasing each and every time. Maybe, they should take a page from them...and the employ teenagers. Go figure....Sorry Lee's, but it's true.. Oops, here's...

My wife had the chicken fried steak with fried okra and cole slaw. She could have got a better chicken fried steak by eating a tv dinner. Honestly going by her it was exactly the same. The dog got half of it. I had the 3 piece chicken with 2 sides. Or I should say I ordered 2 sides however there was only one in the box. The chicken was ok. The coating tasted good however the breast was very dry. The one of two sides that was actually in the box the fried okra would have been good had it been fresh. They don't give out any butter or jelly for the biscuit. I will give it 2 stars because although incompetent at the job the staff were friendly. It had been years since eating at Lees and now I...
