LOVE this place! Found it a couple of months ago and immediately saw a familiar, friendly face. I have a service dog and it’s appreciated when the host doesn’t look for where they can hide us out of the way. All of their seating is, aptly, (easily moveable) tables, which makes the entire dining area accessible to people with disabilities. Located in The Patch, they’re an integral part of revitalizing this area of St. Louis, along with Stack’d, Sugar Witch and several others. They have a large menu of the breakfast staples that are all excellent choices, but the specials are truly special. They’re a value, too, not jacked up from the rest of the menu. Another thing that struck me is the diversity of the patronage. Mama’s Breakfast Table is a shining reflection of The Patch and St. Louis, as a whole.

🌟 Best Breakfast in South St. Louis City! 🌟 We ordered three standout entrees: the South City Slinger, Country Boy, and Western Omelette—and every bite confirmed what locals already know: this place serves the best breakfast in South St. Louis City. The flavors were bold, comforting, and perfectly executed. Service was on point—attentive, fast, and genuinely friendly. The space? Spotless and inviting, with a vibe that makes you want to linger over coffee. Whether you’re craving hearty classics or just a clean, welcoming spot to start your day, this place. Can’t wait to try their pies next time!!

Loved everything about this place. Food was exceptional, obviously made to order and scratch biscuits!! My husband Loved LOVED the sausage gravey. Potato were perfect. Crunchy outside soft inside. My eggs were also perfectly cooked. The biscuits where light, flakey, and simply yummy! My Husband and I have a standing breakfast date every weekend. This I definitely going to be one of new regular spots. For us it's a bit of a drive but, it is very worth it. Parking is on street only. Maybe kind of tricky in winter conditions. FYI. But, don't let that deter you.

Homemade cinnamon rolls and biscuits are delicious! A friend and me on cinnamon snobs. We’ve tried them many places while on vacations. And we both loved these, better than most we have tried. They change up the cinnamon rolls now and then. Some with crème cheese, fruit, or a Mexican with chocolate then just the regular which we had. Everyone at our table of four enjoyed their breakfast from eggs benedict, breakfast slinger, veggie omelet, biscuit and gravy. We were close to a wall, the chalkboard and bar and were able to have a conversation just fine. The table behind us had 3 people and we really couldn’t hear their conversation. The wait staff were back and forth to the bar and didn’t interfere with us at all. The staff and waitress couldn’t have been any better. I came in a wheelchair with one leg prompt up and out of the few tables left they put us in the best one for me where I could keep my leg straight out. We stayed and talked awhile, the waitress and another guy kept checking on us and refilling our drinks. We got there on a Sunday about 9am and there was a crowd but a few tables left. By time we left a little after 11am, some folks were waiting for a table. The owners are the parents of the Riverside Cafe (dinner) and the kids kept Riverside. Riverside’s food is great as well but not as handicap accessible. We will go back and hope they stay in business there for...

Mama's Breakfast Table is by far my favorite place for a spectacular breakfast, either at breakfast time or through the early afternoon. The owners take great pride in offering a menu to satisfy all as well as delivering food to the table with top-notch service. And yes, ALWAYS, with a smile. They know their clientele by name and welcome you to their location. Their specials are well thought out, especially around the hilolidays, and never a disappointment. Their lunch menu is delightful, too. In all honesty, I've never been disappointed. Everyone I have recommended Mama's to has looked at me like I had three heads until they've tried it. I even caught the last person I recommended Mama's to, passing it off as their recommendation. Funny how that works... Doesn't matter how high up the ladder you are, I'll recommend Mama's all the same. Not a high horse in the world that would not enjoy a minute of unwind and a full belly of Mama's delicious vittles. Why, you ask? Because everything tastes better when you feel at home eating Mama's home cookin. It's just made...

We were excited to try the new location. We arrived early being the first customers at the door. The owner let us in. We complimented him on the restaurant & decor. We found a seat and waited for our waitress. Then another couple came in sat down and the owner took their drink order and then promptly gave them silverware and menus. After he gave them their drinks. We still waited for someone to come over to us?? It was odd... Then yet another couple came in only to have the owner again repeat the great service & attention he gave the other couple. Finally a waitress came over to us acted flustered which was odd since there were only 3 two top tables total. She took our drink order. Left came back slapped the menus and silverware down as if we were non paying customers. The entire vibe was bad. We ordered the skillets. They brought our skillets which were tasteless and we noticed the bottom of the potatoes were Black they were burned so bad. Never again! We were treated so bad we will not patronize their Riverside diner location which we've been going...
