First sorry for the rant but I really need to get this off my chest. Okay so anyone from St. Louis remembers the big snow fall at the beginning of January 2014 that's when this started 3 days after the snowfall. I ordered online for delivery, now I know it was still snowy but I don't think its too much to ask that I get what I ordered. In this case it was my soda, I ordered a pepsi for myself and mountain dew for my son. When the driver arrived he tried to give me a coke. I pointed out that wasn't what I ordered. He explained he had forgotten my soda but he stopped at bought the coke. First Pizza Hut is owned by Pepsi-Co so why would you stop and bring me a coke. I explained I didn't drink coke. The driver then got rude told me I could just share the mountain dew. I replied "Really I don't drink Mountain Dew that why I ordered a Pepsi." he got huffy and raised his voice at me "Well what do you want me to do go back and get what you ordered." In my mind I was thinking well yeah I don't see why I can't get what I ordered but I kept that to myself and said "You know what never mind." meaning I would take my food and just let it go, but the driver got angry and snapped at me "Fine I will." turned and took off taking everything my food, the sodas, everything. I yelled behind him "What your not even going to leave my food." he ignored me and kept on going. I went inside and tried to call the store but no one answered the phone so I got in my car and drove through the same snow he was so upset about. I was reasonably upset when I got there, he was not back yet but the woman that I assume is the manager asked me what was wrong. I started telling her what happened and she started making up excuses for him. I started getting more annoyed and yes I said the f word once when expressing how much I didn't think there was any excuse for how rude this guy was. Of course instead of understanding my being upset and saying a bad word without thinking she threatened to call the cops on me "Really!!!" Still I swallowed my anger and apologized to her, she made my food right there and refunded the delivery fee {Wow thanks for nothing}. Now I went home and called corporate and filed a complaint never heard back from them but I let it go and things went back to normal I have ordered and received my food with no problems until today.
I placed an online order today 2/11/2014. About a half hour later I got a call from the store which I missed because I didn't hear the phone. They left me a message saying they were canceling my order because said driver was working and he didn't want to deliver to me. "REALLY!" grow up its a job and I promise you if I told my boss I wasn't going to do my job because I had a bad experience with someone I wouldn't still have a job. I called the store to explain I was over that it was the past no big thing could I please (and yes I said Please) get my order. The woman I spoke with I can only assume was the same one I spoke with before, got immediately defensive, raising her voice at me that the driver had a right to refuse to deliver to me, telling me I had been mean the last time we had a run in. I then asked her for the corporate offices number again. She snapped at me that I had already lodged a complaint with them once to which I informed her I was about to do so again and I would appreciate her kindly giving me the phone number after all if she wasn't doing anything wrong it shouldn't be a problem. Of course she hung up on me. Really I am a nice person, easy to get along with but grown people need to act like grown people. This is a business and it should be run like one not like a daycare full of children. I have lodged another complaint with corporate lets see if they call me back this time. In the mean time if you are lucky enough to get the night crew people by all means I am certain you will get great service but I suggest you stay away from the...
Read moreI placed an order by phone for delivery for 2 pizzas, was told it would be 30 minutes. 1 hour later, the order arrived and was wrong. I called the store back and the manager said she would personally make a replacement pizza herself and it would be delivered in "30 minutes or less." One hour later, now a total of 2 hours from placing the order, the replacement pizza arrived, made sloppy and luke warm at best. I called back and could not reach the store, instead being forwarded to a call center who said they couldn't rransfer mw to the store, but they offered to speak to a supervisor. During this time, in which I was on hold for 15 minutes, the supervisor was apparently calling the store. I was tild by the call center supervisor that the store manager said no refund, only a replacement pizza (which would have been the 3rd attempt at getting it right) so the supervisor followed suit. In the end, this unhappy customer settled for a credit towards a future purchase, which I may never use because I am utterly disgusted with Pizza Hut's embarrassingly poor customer service and absurdly corporate and unfriendly process of handling...
Read moreGet my order right! The last 3 times we’ve ordered, something has been wrong. This last time (last night) they didn’t give us the right amount of sauce we ordered, the pizza was luke warm at best and it doesn’t seem that that pepperoni was the cup kind we ordered. There is at least one thing wrong every single time. We decided after this time that we won’t order from you guys anymore. Or we will go pick up from another location. The quality is really lacking these days. I absolutely loved Pizza Hut as a kid. I read more books than you could imagine to get that personal pan pizza because the crust was to die for in those days. It’s nothing but crispy, buttery decadence. Not anymore. It’s chewy and most of the time not even done. I’m just not going to keep paying for awful quality. They also don’t pay attention when you put in notes. I like my pizza well done and I stopped even putting it in the notes because they never noticed it anyway. I’m kinda sad that my favorite chain pizza as a kid is no longer worth the money. I’m happier with frozen sometimes over spending at least $30 to order and have it be lack...
