The restaurant had one person in the dining area when I entered the restaurant. Ordering takes place at the counter. But you order on your own and then are asked to leave a fifteen percent tip or more. After you pay, how do you do with you? You don't have the option for our printed receipt.Only text or email. The water was generic water that could be purchased at any box or grocery store, but the charge was two dollars. The fountain soda machine was out of order. So I couldn't get free water.

I sat down and waited for my order. When it was ready, the person brought it out to the counter, looked at me, and then said, it's ready. I just figured since I was the only one in the entire restaurant, it would have been a kindness to bring it over to me. But he made me get up and go get it. Then, he proceeded to wipe down all the tables and told me that I just missed the rush. It was completely full, not thirty minutes before. The other piece that bothered me was that it is an old building, and understandably things happen, but it smelled like sewer gas was coming up from the bathroom. The positive was that I was sitting by the air register because it was over 90° outside, so that felt good.

The food was good, but not change my life amazing. If I do go back, I think I might order for pickup. And then just take it back to my office and eat it or go sit in a park if the...

I found this place during quarantine and started using door dash and I fell in love! When I first started ordering they would put plenty of sauce on their gyros and their fries came with this really tasty seasoning on them that was a little bit spicy. But the last few times I've ordered I haven't been able to get that seasoning on my fries even when I make a special request in my order for it. And I have tried requesting extra sauce but the gyro hasn't had any more sauce on it. I would love to keep ordering but I'm not sure how to ask for my food the way I like it. I would be willing to pay extra for it but there's not an option on the app for seasoning or extra sauce, so I'm left to just request it in the comments. Anyways, this is my new favorite restaurant so if any of the owners happen to read this and take my suggestion into account I would love to...

Döner kebab fans - congratulations! You found it! An authentic döner kebab this side of the Atlantic! And it's so good!

I was in St. Louis for less than 24 hours, and went to Soulard Gyro twice. In fact, we even went to two locations, because this one was closed on Sundays and we couldn't leave without getting another döner. I'm jealous that this restaurant is still so far away from Chicago, but hey, at least it beats going all the way to Germany, right?

Definitely give this place a shot! The rest of their menu looked incredible as well. I will be stopping here every time I'm in St. Louis....

I had Döner in Germany and loved it. I tried it here and I think it was even better! Stacked high with lamb from the spit, lettuce and tomato, seasoned just perfectly. The bread however is the best part. It is unlike any bread you can get at the supermarket. Light and tasty but with a little chew too it. Reminds me of the bread I had while in Kosovo. My wife and I try to get there as much as possible. Now they have multiple locations to make it easier.

Realy authentic Döner/ Gyro place. Nice small neighborhood diner. The Döner was very tasty and the bread was perfect. Great comfort food. Staff very pleasant, great service. Can’t wait to go back for another. In very nice historic Soulard neighborhood, take a walk after to see the area and historic houses. Right on the corner of a nice little park if you like to eat outside
