If you’re considering them for your wedding cake, stop considering and DO IT. You won’t be able to beat Sugaree on taste, price, or customer service. We’ve been married for over a year now, and we still have people mention that it was the best cake they’d ever had at a wedding. We had over 300 guests, so we had a huge budget for cake, but ended up under budget in this category while still having plenty for everyone. We didn’t have any leftovers, because when the caterer started to box up the leftovers guests came running over to grab more pieces! All 3 cake flavors are great but the mousses are TO DIE FOR. We ended up giving our guests 3 cake choices— chocolate cake with chocolate mousse, raspberry mousse, and chocolate ganache; citrus pound cake with lemon mousse and strawberry mousse and buttercream icing; and vanilla cake with hazelnut mousse, espresso mousse, and chocolate ganache. It was SO HARD to choose these combinations because it all tasted so good. And, we were able to provide all of those choices at only $2.50 per person..... unbelievable. I’ve seen some reviews claiming they were treated rudely... I guess I can see why someone would feel that way if they’ve gotten used to all the bridal butt-kissing you get during the wedding planning process. Pat was professional and very efficient. She didn’t mess around and waste our time, and she went above and beyond what we expected out of a bakery. She has a no-nonsense attitude but wasn’t dismissive or rude... just an expert in her field who knows what will and won’t work. We recently bought a readymade Chocolate Three-Way cake from them for our anniversary and it was pure bliss. Everything we’ve tried is just delicious. Stop considering and choose Sugaree!

So first off let me start by apologizing. The Sugaree did our wedding cake back in 2016. I swear in wrote a review and praised how amazing this bakery wa . From the quality if thier cakes to thier outstanding customer servic . I highly recommend them to a girlfriend of mine getting married in Spring and she informed me she didnt see my review in her . Soni looked and couldn't find i . I feel ABSOLUTELY awful that it was not posted properly. So I'm attempting to post again theee years late . They were so helpful with the idea of the cake unwanted for a beach themed wedding I was having at the Zoo. Everything turned out so beautiful and the cake was absolutely delicious! I would give them 10 stars if I could! I again deeply apologize for not realizing my first review didnt post. But this bakery is truly amazing

Don't tell my Granny, but Sugaree makes the best chicken pot pie I've ever had đŸ€«đŸ˜ Overall this cute little shop has some of the best sweets I've ever had. I can't wait for my Birthday because I know I'll be ordering a cake through them! Pat and her team are super nice and I've always had pleasant conversations with them during my visits.

I was so happy to see Sugaree reopened, but under a different owner. I was curious about their pies and I was told by the new owners that everything is the same. Same recipes, same techniques, same everything. However, while anyone can have the exact same recipes, it’s the love that someone gives that makes half of the pie. Now, I really want to give the new Sugaree 2 stars, but I am hoping they will read and try to improve so I can give them 5 stars as I have before. So, here’s my experience on the new pies: Similar in taste, but there’s a lot that is off. Crust is not the same. It is much more gooey dough than being having more texture and crispness. Filling for the apple pie has way more applesauce than apples and the apples in it are way too mushy. There is not the same amount of filling in the pie. It’s about half of what it used to be.

If you’re looking for a great pie, Sugaree has some work to do. Hopefully they can put a lot more heart and unconditional passion in it and turn things around because the previous owners made some big shoes to fill. If the new owners cannot improve, the new Sugaree will just be another pie place that goes out of business like most of the...

I submitted a request about a tasting last week with sugaree. After not hearing from them, I figured I’d just give them a quick call and see if I could get more details about scheduling a tasting over the phone. A woman answered and as I began to say I was calling about a tasting for a wedding she instantly cut me off and said very rudely and aggressively “I’m sure you’d love to talk about your wedding but I don’t have the time. I’m making X amount of pies, it’s my busiest year for pies and I don’t have time to talk to you about your wedding as much as I’m sure you’d love to do that. I might be getting back to wedding inquiries in the coming month but I don’t have time for this.” I hadn’t even gotten a full sentence out. I told her I’d be taking my service elsewhere since she was so rude right off the bat. I’m not in a rush and there were far better ways she could’ve gone about that. The last thing any bride or groom needs when planning their wedding is a rude, cranky old hag for...
