I’d describe this place as upper-class diner food - loaded with the basics with a bonus level of options, including lunch and really good coffee. The restaurant is spacious and has a partitioned area for larger parities with a TV. It’s bright and simple, and despite the size, doesn’t feel loud or overwhelming.

We were quoted a 20 minute wait but it ended up being closer to 40 despite a number of open tables, but it seemed the kitchen may have gotten backed up for a bit. Anywhere you go for brunch has a wait, so we expected it to be there and it wasn’t a huge dealbreaker for us. The only issue I had here was that we would have gladly sat at the cafe bar, but a family overtook half of it while they waited for a table drinking water and standing in the way of waitstaff coming out of the kitchen. I felt it was I incredibly rude of them since they were preventing additional business at the bar but they weren’t asked to wait in the main waiting area. Eventually the rest of their party showed up after 30 minutes and they filled the rest of the bar seats. They did finally ordered food, but the hostess had been holding spare tables to accommodate their party and it slowed down the rest of the seating. This wasn’t the fault of the restaurant, but I personally thought it was something that could have been managed a bit better.

Once we were seated and ordered, everything came out quickly. The food was very good - though parts of the French toast were a bit soggy/doughy in the middle from the batter. My friend loved her burger and fries. And the Nitro was a 10/10 (and that’s coming from a pretty big coffee snob).

Overall, this is a great new breakfast spot that’s open 7 days a week. It’s incredibly priced and full of friendly staff and owners. I truly believe the kinks of table seating and kitchen issues will work themselves out quickly - considering they had only been open about three weeks, things were running pretty dang great.

We’ll definitely...

Went on Sunday morning around 10:15 or so. There was quite the crowd, which I was glad to see for this new spot! The waiting area is spacious and they did have a bar where smaller parties could dine. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful, seriously. Loved the vibe and the atmosphere, seats were very comfortable and classy. We waited ~30 minutes for our table, which I thought was reasonable. They use SpotOn, so we were able to check out progress in line.

My husband and I reviewed the menu before we sat down, so we were ready to order right away. Our server was so sweet! She made excellent suggestions and was prompt. We received our order in 25 minutes, which I was really surprised by! I thought that was pretty quick given the amount of tables seated. Very pleased.

Husband had a Greek Omelet with the side of fruit. He said the omelet was great - toppings were plentiful and tasty. He said the fruit was fresh and had a good variety. I ordered “The Corner” pancakes and a side of the potatoes. The potatoes were excellent! They had onions in them, but complemented the flavor and didn’t overpower. They had an excellent seasoning of some kind. I was a bit disappointed that the menu said the order of The Corner pancakes came with 2 pancakes, I only received one. The pancake was HUGE (I ended up with plenty and had leftover) but I wouldn’t have ordered this style for one cake, the cost was $5 more than the other options.

Only other small disappointment was the soda - it had a strange aftertaste that I couldn’t quite pinpoint. I originally ordered a Diet Dr. Pepper and it was very strong in that soda. I asked our server if I could switch to Coke Zero and she gladly accommodated that. She said they have had someone out to look at the machine a couple times and they are aware of the issue. Next time I’ll skip the soda and grab a coffee! The chocolate cold brew...

This was our first time at The Breakfast Corner. We are in the neighborhood, and we like to support local businesses. Today, we chose this restaurant for brunch and wanted to see what it was all about. It is a few blocks away and convenient. The atmosphere is bright and airy. I like the openness of the dining room. There was a lot of planning that went into this smaller place. There is a partition that separates the bigger groups from the main dining room. and the ceiling has a soundproof/ deadening foam that takes the din out of the warehouse ceiling structure. Our dining experience was awesome. We came a little early, around 8 a.m. and seating was quick. We did notice it got busy around 9 o' clock. Our food was delicious . I had the Chorizo 3 egg omelet with onions, red peppers, avocados, and Colby jack cheese. A very flavorful dish that was complimented by a drizzle of lime crema. Coffee is fresh, and a carafe is left at the table for your pleasure. Our server, Kim, was very courteous and professional and genuinely enjoyed helping us. My wife had the avocado omelet, and that was refreshing and also full of flavor. The dishes come with a choice of potatoes toast or a muffin. You can order a biscuit for a little bit extra. This location is worth a visit . The food is scrumptious and plentiful. Come hungry and say hi to Kim. she will definitely make you feel welcome. I recommend adding this to your ...
