The Neighbor's Place — Restaurant in St. Louis

This place is amazing ! Me and my bf was first timers . We found this place on IG. We came on $20 hookah Thursdays. It’s 3 levels of this place. U have the downstairs where they host events the second floor is like a dance area and the third floor is a game area with ice cream . In order to play the games u have to give them your ID which is great because people will steal the game controllers. The food was decent only say that because my chicken was over cook . I couldn’t taste the meat really because it was over cook. The drinks was great ! The workers are black and respectful. The services was great ! They give u a tour if you are new. They check on you to see if you are okay or if you need anything . They even offer us a sample of ice cream. The short dark skin guy service was 10/10 he made sure me and my bf was having a good time Our whole stay ! The woman with the locs was very nice and made sure everyone had a good time and told us the history of this place . And what’s amazing about it they are BLACK OWNED !!!!!!!!!!!! My husband and I happened upon this awesome spot! Seriously, do not sleep on this place. The owner, J, was so nice. Her brother gave us a tour as soon as we got there because we had never been and it’s customary. The first floor had tables and chairs, a small area for karaoke/dj, and access to an outside patio that was done really nicely. The second floor has a full bar, free pool, a huge tv, and a second floor patio. The third and final floor has gaming chaisr setup with their own tv in front of each with your choice of Xbox, PlayStation 5 or Nintendo switch. They also had ice cream up there! Family friendly spot before 9pm with plenty for the kids to do. Now, the food…so good! I ordered the fried shrimp and they were delicious. My husband and I both loved the fries too. I have been looking for some good chicken since moving to Missouri 6 months ago. My coworker told me about this hidden place!!!

Omg!! It’s about a 30 min drive from my side of town but it is worth the drive. There is street scarce parking so I’m not sure how that works out until I plan another trip to wine down. Let me tell u guys what I ordered. Chicken wings and fries with a salad . I originally wanted a banana split however she ( owner) didn’t add it to my bill. Maybe next time perhaps. My food was simply amazing . Made fresh to eat ! U know food is good when u take it home to reheat it and it still has that same pop. The ranch sauce was good. I don’t even eat ranch however whatever was added to it was delicious!!
