Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in St. Marys

Papa John's has always been kind of overpriced. But over time the delivery charge has continued to go up,and the cost of two pizzas for delivery is nearly $30 without a tip. Now on top of that,Papa John's has partnered with DoorDash so instead of paying normal employees an hourly wage to do the job,they can pay contractors a fraction of the cost. The worst part though is that DoorDash doesn't have accurate maps,and if you have trouble ordering with them,you'll now have trouble ordering Papa John's for delivery.

I placed an order with my address on the PJ website,but because it went through DD system,it autocorrected my address to something entirely different that was ten minutes in the other direction. The best part is that the delivery sticker that prints out at PJs when I ordered have the correct address on them,but because the DD driver was looking at his print out,he went to the complete wrong place. I ordered the special which contained a large pizza, a side, and a 2-liter. I also ordered extra marinara sauce. Upon arrival, the driver handed me the wrong person's order without realizing; I pointed out the mistake to her and she apologized and went back to the car to get my order. She hands it to me, and I explained that I had ordered a Sierra Mist and did not receive it with my order. She apologized again, explaining that she forgot it at the store. When I opened the box of pizza, there was no sauce at all. When me and my roommate bit into the pizza, it tasted- and I am not exaggerating- like a wet dog. The entire thing was rancid. On the bright side, when I called, they brought the 2-Liter me about an hour and a half later. Overall, not a good experience. We ordered pizza here ordered 2 pizzas 1 cheese bread, 1 brownies and extra sauce, shakers and seasons. Received 1 cold pizza 1 cold cheese bread and 1 brownie, missing the extra sauces for the cheese bread, seasoning for the pizzas, had to call to find out were our items were, they said they were on the way 45 later they showed up w 2 cold pizzas and sauces by that time the kids were starved so they already ate the cheese bread so no point in the sauces we already paid for. the 2 cold pizzas well they were cold.
