I'll begin with apologies. The drive thru line was crazy long so I decided to go in. I ordered at 1:36pm & left at 1:57pm. I was a bit curt with the associate due to my poor planning. I didn't realize it would take 20 minutes to get 2 orders of the Fried Finger Meals. Again my poor planning. So please relay my apologies to the young girls. Although I was upset I should not have taken it out on them as they were just standing & chatting.
Ok, now can we talk about the food?! I believe had the fingers been hot hot as I expected they would have been awesome but luke warm, pretty good. They are sized well & the dredge is lightly seasoned. Few crispy pieces and not dry but not crazy juicy. The wedges were creamy with a tiny crunch and the ratio fry to chicken was good. I don't like coleslaw but tried it. Still don't like it. 🫣Not to say it was bad it's not really my taste. So being fair it tastes like coleslaw. The croissant is the star here!😋 Buttery! Flaky! Chewy! Soft yet firm... just stellar! Bravo on that recipe. P hbiPickle dipping sauce is delicious!🥰🥰 Over all I give this place a 7 out of 10. This is not a quick run in or drive up and go spot. Hog & bones was the same way so being patient and planning...
Read moreThis restaurant was recommended to us by My Mom's friend. A group of 4 of us decided to try it the next week, and I am SO happy that we did, because the Chicken I ordered was absolutely THEE BEST chicken that I honest have had in a really a long time! So much so that I would of gone back the next day for lunch! The grape salad was really good. Everything we all ordered arrived promptly and was the correct temperature The waiter was attentive and professional. The prices were very reasonable, I didn't personally pay, but our friend who did didn't complain about it, so I'm assuming that he did not spend more than someone would pay for stuff you really must have like: gas, or an engagement ring, school supplies etc. My Dad took my brother and his family there also when he was visiting the area from NY, and my Brother said that the Grilled Chicken Sandwich! , was better than the grilled chicken he usually gets up in NY and actually said they need to open a location up there too! When the waitress asked how everything was. Definitely try it! You won't be...
Read moreI had the grilled chicken tenders, steak fries and coleslaw with some sort of croissant. Every item had a very different taste and did not blend well together. The chicken was heavily seasoned to the point where it was almost blackened. The fries had a completely different taste that didn’t pair well with the chicken. The coleslaw was phoned in and the sticky sweet bread didn’t match with what was going on in the meal at all. My wife had the fried tenders and said they were flavorless except for the overwhelming amounts of black pepper. I tried four different sauces and they are pretty much the same except for some mustard and sriracha added to two of them. In a town with four chicken restaurants, Zaxbys, Magoos, chik-fla and Southern Roost the competition for the consumers dollar is high and you are going to have to do better to compete. On a positive note, some of the best sweet tea I’ve had. So for now it’s...
