I have been ordering from this place for years and always had issues with my food but never thought much of it because it was always delivery. My biggest issue is the price. I'm honestly not sure if it's normal to charge so much but my orders would be upwards of $80 for 2 dishes and a side of rice and kimchi. I don't know if the prices were displayed certain ways because of the delivery apps or because or the way they put them in the app, but there were times I ended up paying $15 for 4 oz. side of rice and a 4 oz. side of kimchi. At one point I had even ordered an 8 oz. kimchi and I only got a 4 oz. yet paid extra for it. I get that I was ordering it on a delivery app but even when I only order 2 dishes it would still be $30 - $40 before fees were added. Another issue I have is how inconsistent the taste and quality of the food was. I ordered the same 2 dishes (ramen & kimchi kimbop) for about a year, maybe twice a month, and have noticed a very big difference between a year ago and now. The kimbop started to constantly have mushy rice and little to no kimchi about 4 months ago. I know that if I'm going to order ramen i should expect to recieve overcooked noodles, (it's delivery), but again for the past month they have been so over cooked that it was no longer ramen. It was soup. (I would suggest packing the noodles seperatly from the broth but to each their own.) It was also missing alot of flavor. It tasted watered down sadly. I had ordered the Galbi meat at one point as well and it was incredibly salty at times.There were also times where they would substitue my food for other things without letting me know. Again, I know it's delivery but the quality and service are very hit or miss. I honestly have no idea about the service but I haven't heard many good things as well. Based on the replies to some of these reviews, it's a bit concerning seeing how almost non-chalant and defensive they seem to be toward some of their former customers concerns. (Like I've heard from many former customers and reviews.) I hope that instead of them taking this review and many more as an insult like it seems they have been, they listen and try new things and ways to help satisfy some future customers concerns. I will take a break from ordering here myself. The last time I ordered was within the last week and it just wasn't like it used to be. I would recomend trying it at least once and seeing how it goes for yourself though since they seem a bit hit or miss...
Read moreThe food was amazing. The beef bulgogi tasted delicious. The way the carrots and cabbage combined with the meat made for a good crunchy and tender texture. The bad was when we got our bill and the waiter kept overcharging my card. The bill was for 46 dollars and change but they kept overcharging my card. When I explained this to them they said it was my bank. I logged into my mobile banking app and it showed them attempting to charge my card multiple times for 55 dollars. The waiter lied over and over again and said it was due to insufficient funds. Even after I displayed this to them. We've never had korean food and always wanted to try it as we have many friends in Busan and Seoul. This hurt us personally as we've had such wonderful experiences from people from South korea. The food was good but the way we were treated made us think it's best to avoid this place and any other korean resturant. We didn't even take our food home even though it was boxed up. They clearly needed it more then us since apparently its acceptable to steal from your own customers. This really hurt because we were really excited to try something we saw in videos online but because of where we live we don't have access to korean cooking. Thanks for ruining...
Read more¡¡¡BEWARE OF ORDER PLACEMENT FRAUD!!! TWICE NOW Bulgogi canceled my Doordash order on their end and then called me asking for payment to pay them directly. I am not even kidding.
First time I figured out what happened... This was a BIG order btw... My driver informed me that this place created identical orders and gave their own delivery driver (not my DD driver that I only paid) to deliver my food. Then they called asking for payment, which obviously I declined, so they had their driver return back to the store.
THIS WAS AFTER I ALREADY AGREED TO PICK UP THE FOOD AND PAY AT RESTAURANT, UNDER THREAT OF BEING PERMANENTLY BANNED. I DROVE 8 MILES TO THIS RESTAURANT TO PICK UP MY OWN CANCELED DOORDASH ORDER.
THEN THEY REFUSED TO GIVE ME MY ORDER!!!!!!
