Legends Grill — Restaurant in Stafford

A friend and I decided to visit Legends last night for food and drinks. There was one group of about 6 there when we arrived but overall The establishment was pretty empty and quiet.

We sat at a table in the middle of the establishment.

The bartended must’ve knew the people at the table of 6 because she was taking shots with them the entire night. I have no issue with her drinking on the clock but it started to become a problem because every time we asked for something she would forget and we would have to constantly remind her. It got to the point to where I made sure to keep count of the drinks we ordered just in case she happened to ring up the wrong amount of drinks (because she was so forgetful of everything).

When it was time to pay, it took a long time and I noticed her huddling up and talking to another waitress in discussion. She didn’t even bring our ticket, another waitress did. This is where the issue comes to play. My card was swiped without even giving me an itemized ticket. So then once I do request an itemized ticket, I noticed that I have been overcharged for a few of my drinks. I was charged $7 for each drink of patron. Legends advertises $5 Patron drinks on Wednesday (every Wednesday) according to the Facebook page. Again, my card was already swiped but I bring it to the bartender’s attention and she tells me “oh yeah that’s for people who play bingo”. The ad says nothing about bingo and we weren’t even offered to play bingo. That’s another issue right there.

So aside from the horrible service and bad advertising, after getting my itemized ticket I also notice that she charges us 20% automatic gratuity. Who does that for a group of two? I’ve been to legends plenty of times and have never had that happen. Especially when the service is horrible.

Luckily I had the brains to ask for my itemized receipt because Legends bartenders are overcharging AND forcing 20% automatic gratuity for bad service on a table of 2!!! Insanity. Will not be back! Bad service ruined the amazing food that is here.

Went for a company lunch with my office to "try something new". I had the burger for lunch w/ BBQ and Ranch for my fries with a water with lemon. When our food came out I noticed the "ranch" was yellow and bubbly so I didn't touch it, my co worker and manager tried it and stated that it wasn't ranch, they couldn't tell what it was. I went to dip my fry in the BBQ and I saw something black, I went in with my fork and found a black piece of scum in my BBQ. It looked like someone scraped it out of the pan and left it in my sauce. I tried to at least eat my burger because I was starving, my burger was so greasy the bottom bun was mushy like mash potatos, my lettuce was still wet with tap water, did I mention my water with lemon tasted like metal, straight from tap. Anyways, I tried to eat my burger, I ran to the bathroom and started throwing up immediately. Co workers complained ketchup was sour and also got sick. Service wasn't good either. Came here to meet up with some colleagues and play some pool. A senior colleague ordered a round of drinks, and I excluded myself from any alcohol drinks and instead went for a sprite.

Everyone got their drinks except for mine, no problem, we'll after 15 mins I went to the server to remind her of my beverage, she admitted that she didn't put it on my colleague's tab and I will pay for separately. I said ok. When I pulled my card, she told me there would be a card charge because it would be on credit. So I then pulled out cash, and to my surprise, she told me she didn't have any chance to give back to me. So I was out 75 cents, and the server didn't even bother to make any type of compensation.
