Casa Villa Express — Restaurant in Stamford

It is a small casual restaurant serving Mexican food. There are only a few tables for customers to dine in. Customers order at the cashier, pay, sit down and will be served. It is in a convenient location and closes late, around 10 pm, which is a big plus. My husband ordered a chicken burrito (about $16) and I ordered a steak burrito (about $17). These dishes are quite tasty and are served with rice, beans, diced seasoned tomates, sour cream and greens. The dishes are of a generous portion and good quality. Totally bummed, was excited to try this place after looking at the reviews.... Boy was I disappointed ! prices were ok however the food was unbelievable bland and tasteless. I ordered chicken enchiladas, the chicken seemed to be pre-cooked and sooooo dry, the mole sauce was just kinda thrown on them and tasted like....nothing. Staff was good, however it sucks walking out of a place completely...

The food is absolutely delicious. It's the best Mexican food we've had in the area, hands down. We tried it a few weeks ago after finding it on Uber Eats and order it once a week now. Pro tip: the restaurant does have its own delivery drivers, and if you order through the restaurant instead of Uber, it's cheaper.
